Pop some advil, sit on your hands till they fall asleep, and masturbate not much to it...
Or alternatively put on some relaxing music...

Hug my pillow, listen to emotional music on my ipod sleep timer on, and think about things.

If I can't get to sleep, sit in my desk chair in the dark and continue to listen to emotional music, maybe try to msn/text/call someone and talk for a bit.

Nothing. I fall asleep when my brain no longer has the ability to function and nothing can force it sooner.

Well, insomnia is never fun, so I just lay in bed, and think. Sometimes, I will listen to my iPod, but not that often.

Drink a glass of milk. Warm milk is better. Suudsu [http://www.hrwiki.org/wiki/Suudsu] is even better.

Opening the window and getting a drink of water, having the TV on with the volume turned down also helps.

I smoke when I can't sleep. In addition I'll put on my own relaxing playlist and turn a fan on blowing in my face.

Listening to Metal on your MP3 might help. Or try thinking deeply about a yourself in a story, make it up as you go along...

I have to have some sort of noise. I usually just set the sleep timer on the t.v., and just turn the volume down a bit. It takes me forever to fall asleep in silence, or if anything is too loud for some reason.

Benadryl. I love having horrid enough allergies that I can take that most nights without really needing to explain it... That is probably bad. Hope it's not too habit-forming. Otherwise that would explain quite a bit of my summer...

I can't fall asleep unless it's completely dark and silent... even if I can't see the lights it bothers me that they're there...
