Cracked.com (no I won't link I can't remember which article) said that if zombies are in a large group it wouldn't be practical to kill them one-at-a-time anyway. Just fire at the legs of a whole bunvh of 'em, they fall over, then the rest of them trip over the ones that already got shot. Gigantic zombie clusterfuck, and a great escape opportunity.

Imagine, out of nowhere - whether it be by some sort of virus or voodoo - zombies accually start to appear. So everyone with guns that has watched a zombie movie will be shooting their brains, correct? What if they continued to come after them even without their brains. What is some other body part was needed to be rid of to kill them? What if they couldnt die? What would you do?

I agree, first I'd probably shit myself in fear. After cleaning myself up you go out and start massacring zombies. Use brute force. If it doesn't work, your not using enough of it. Destroy the body. If the zombie can't move it can't really do anything. Break the spine, smash the legs, crush the arms, shoot the head, then set it on fire. When it burns up smash the skeleton to pieces. If that doesn't work then its obvious God wants you to die.

I'd also suggest nuke it from orbit but that doesn't really help as it will kill all non-zombies as well as zombies in the immediate area, and then just kill all non-zombies further away due to the radiation.
