Seriously though, what would you do if you met your deity of choice in human form, just chillin' around your neighborhood. What would you ask them or say to them?

EDIT: I just realized I never chose a deity myself. I choose Thor, and I'd ask him what he thought of the movie coming up. I'd also licke to meet Buddha, just to see if I can tempt him into a fight. Finally I'd see about getting Anansi to prank some people for me. Seems like the kind of thing a trickster God would be into.

Considering my favourite god and possible deity of choice is Hermes, he'd probably nick my wallet. And then I'd get pissed off and yell at him. Then he'd curse me for all eternity. Wouldn't be pretty...

Dionysus though...I'd ask him to a bar and want him to pay for my drinks, because if I'd pay for his, I'd end up broke.

So if I ran into Athena, I'd be very, very respectful (you never want to upset those Greek gods). If I could permission to have a conversation with her, I'd ask her lots and lots of questions about how it all really went down. I'd also ask her if she could pull a Tiresias on me.

He (the Christian one) already tried it, and called himself 'Jesus', if the Bible's contents is to be believed.

Beyond that, as I don't follow any religion, it'd take something special for a deity of Atheism to firstly exist, and then appear on Earth before me.

I would really prefer meeting Odin or something though. Would be pretty awesome. I guess I would ask next week's lottery numbers or something. Or perhaps ask him to give me a book describing the creation of the universe in perfect detail.

I'd probably end up being someone like Tanaguchi. I get to be the boring normal person while my friend gets pulled into some weird club like the SOS Brigade. Ha.

...If I met a god, I'd hope it was someone cool like Martel (Tales of Symphonia), or Athena... Or maybe a warrior god who wouldn't just decapitate me for noticing their existence, who might take me under their wing. That'd be cool.

...so basically "Can you teach me anything and everything you know that I could handle?" no matter the deity.
