A ninja from N: The way of the Ninja in Uncharted. Or any platformer with a significant amount of gold. Otherwise the whole "natural lifespan of 60 seconds" would be problematic...

The Ninja's agility is so godlike he could speedrun every other game in less than 60 seconds.

I think he'd handle it quite well. Better than Daniel did, although that's part of the reason the game is so freaking good... Still, it'd be fun to tear those goddamned monsters a new one with a plasma cutter... Or at least be able to effectively throw something at them.

That kind of defeats the purpose of dark suvival-horror games like Amnesia. Still, it would be fun to watch him wipe the floor with all of the standard enemies using their own limbs.

Solid snake in CoD . He'll show em how to do it properly .

And if they find him, he'll just shoot his way out. Because seriously, Snake can shoot.

Playing as Alex Mercer in, well anything really, would be wicked fun.

And how has nobody mentioned Doomguy? The dude would beat every other game-enemy horde into the ground using nothing but the awe-inspiring glorious power of his abs. Not to mention the BFG.

If the shooting mechanic from Leon in RE was tied to him as a protagonist, and you threw him in L4D, he'd be dead in two seconds from having to stand still while he shoots. xD

Nah, walking is definitely overrated, especially if you're Leon.

I was actually going to suggest "Duke Nukem in FFX" but that's basically Auron, right?

I would like to have a cross-over game that's basically Super Smash Brothers Brawl with first person shooter characters - some of the lineup would include Duke Nukem, Serious Sam, Doomguy, Ranger (quake 1), Max Payne, Lo Wang (Shadow Warrior), Caleb (Blood), Xan (Unreal Tournament final boss), etc etc... I think it would be a really hilariously fun/funny shooter/fighter/brawler hybrid.

But my real answer is going to have to be something along the lines of Duke Nukem in League of Legends. "GONNA RIP 'EM A NEW ONE..." Just the idea makes me giggle.

For example.
Bobbing around the Fallout 3 Wasteland as Masterchief. Or Assassins Creed with Sam Fischer. Exploring Rapture with Gordon Freeman. Chopping up baddies with Rubi Malone in Albion.
