Umm I would have to say Kirby in any other game would lead to some crazy results.

I haven't actually played any Devil May Cry games (or, heck, any 'spectacle fighters' at all), but it looks like the sort of game/genre which would suit the cast of Touhou perfectly. And if it's game-breakage you're into, put them anywhere else. At all. Or just use Fantasy Heaven as Reimu's default super.

Red Dead Redemption with Niko Bellic. He'd just bomb the place from a chopper, wouldn't care about his family. And a pretty sexy accent thrown in too.
I would enjoy Duke Nukem in Shadow the Colossus, just because it would be incredibly bizarre.
Maybe Garrett in Splinter Cell? I've always felt like Sam Fisher was a friendlier Garrett. Or maybe Agent 47 in Deus Ex. Can you imagine sneaking around in Bioshock. Can you imagine snapping a splicer's neck, donning their rags, and then popping Andrew Ryan with a single shot from a balcony?

Well, I'm not sure if he's a protagonist but I would like to see how everyone would act if the heavy from TF2 would be that galaxys only hope in ME2.
Other than that I'd love to see how my Vampire: the Masquerade char would fare in Fallout: New Vegas or in Brotherhood (Could only be out at night but still).

Ralph E. Wolf in MGS3 or Batman AA, with either Snake (or Big Boss) or Batman replacing him in Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf. Or they could compete to see who could get the sheep first.
Putting Kratos in any other game would just make them piss easy. I'd like to see how Mario would last in G.O.W. Actually he would just keep dying in the first 3 seconds.
