What if your account was banned from this site?

I was banned recently as a preventative measure, because someone keylogged my password. Contacted the mods, got on IRC, ran a virus scan, changed my password, everything was peachy and I still got my Morpheus badge.

Same here. Nearly 4200 posts without being so much as probated, and I don't think you can get banned for a first offense unless you severely fuck up.

I would get angry at myself, beg the mods for one more chance and if that failed... go hunting...

Or maybe a knife fight with multiple people instead of my usual one on one.
I do wish that I get put on probation again though, I liked the colour.

I'd probably make a new account if I could. I like the people here and if I made a mistake to separate me from you guys, I would try to not make that mistake again.

If I couldn't make a new account, I don't know what I would do. I have my home forum I go to just as much, but it is much smaller, and gaming and other intelligent conversations just don't happen there. I'd probably just lurk and pull out my hair when I'm not allowed to add my comments to the conversation.

I wanna be in that club, which is why I'm careful with what I post. Only a few hundred posts until I get the Morpheus badge! (Mods, please do not put me on probation/suspend/ban me just to prevent me from getting the badge.)

Same here. A ban to me would be met with severe cursing, followed by a 500% increase in productivity.

Depends on why I was banned if I was innocent I'd contact the admins but if I was guilty of what I did....well not so sure probably ask myself if it was worth it.

I would contact the higher ups and find out what I did wrong. Then learn my lesson and make a new account. With a much cooler name, mind you. This one has lost its pizzazz.

I would be very upset if I hadn't done anything wrong and probably not come back. If I did do something wrong I would say to myself, "Sam, you were *****" and not come back.

That sucks. There are a few people that I would miss if they were banned.=(

I would ban "The Escapist" off my homepage and bookmark, and I may or may not, depending on the weather outside, leave my bunker to hunt for food, find the right mate, even capture pokemon, and train them so that I can accomplish my life long dream of becoming a pokemon molester, I mean, master.

It crossed my mind when I was flicking through channels. *flick, flick* then all I hear is BAN!

What would you do? Leave peacefully and never come back? Make a new account? Contact the people who run the escapist? Make a new account and TROLL? Please share.

Assuming they ban my ip address, which the escapist staff likes to do....

I would simply change the ip address that my ISP assigns to my cable modem. I called my ISP once before to have them do this, but they are ridiculously slow about it. They told me it would take 24 hours and I was so not going to wait 24 hours for them to do something that should only take 5 minutes.

So, I figured out how to change it on my own. Once that's taken care of, I would just create a new account on the escapist, and wah-lah, I'm back.

Of course...it's not like I've ever done this before...

My low post count is just because I, uh...don't talk a lot.

I would message a mod and ask why, possibly disputing the reason for my ban, depending on what I did. If it was a fair ban then I would leave, I'm not desperate/addicted enough to start another account, and just don't see the point. If My opinions aren't wanted, why inflict them on the community.
