They must never stop making Top Gear, it gives me a "fizzy feeling in a special place". [SUB]Cookie for reference.[/SUB]tomtom94 said:Of my current favourites, Top Gear is of finite length anyway (I think it'll be gone in a few years, they'll probably make it to series 20 then stop)
Also at least Firely didn't have time to 'jump the shark'. I know I'll get hate for this, but I lost track of Farscape for a while, and tried to come back into it on the final season. Everything was turned upside down, and it seemed a parody of it's earlier self.DeAvatar said:Firefly was a good series, though it should of gone for at LEAST as long as Farscape. At least Firefly didn't get the crappy "movie" at the end.
I have to say...I love everything about this post...and its the first one.Celtic_Kerr said:It was. Firefly.
I was sad, but... The world didn't end. House and Bones are good, but Firefly was genius... Fucking Fox Network
I really liked firefly, but that being said, how many people who love it actually watched it on TV? I didn't, I bought the DVD Set, which unfortunately doesn't affect ratings.Celtic_Kerr said:It was. Firefly.

I think House is finished...IcyEvils said:If How I Met Your Mother, House, The IT Crowd, The Big Bang Theory and Doctor Who were all cancelled, I would probably jump off a bridge.
The DVD boxed sets don't come out at the SAME TIME a show is airing. it's usually released the next season. THe show was already cancelled by the time the DVDs came out and there WAS a shining fanbase at the time. The cancellation was announced about 3/4 of the way through the show, so EVERYONE watched it on TV back then...frago roc said:I really liked firefly, but that being said, how many people who love it actually watched it on TV? I was one of the people watchign it when it first came out. I remember being a member of many forum sites and there was huge demand for it. Fox didn't cancel it because they thought no one was watching it. They cancelled it because they wanted to replace the prime-time slot with something they thought would do even better, but the replacement show bombedfrago roc said:You misunderstand me.Celtic_Kerr said:The DVD boxed sets don't come out at the SAME TIME a show is airing. it's usually released the next season. I mean how many people did not watch it on TV but only heard of it and saw it through the DVD sets after it was canceled. I did not mean to suggest that there were multiple ways of seeing it, just that some of us completely missed out on it while it was on TV.
Celtic_Kerr said:Fox makes stupid decisions, but hopefully another network will someday revive it, like CC did to Futurama.
