I hate it when people mistake you for the person who insulted them, and flame you for a full day because they think you insulted their mother, or something. I got flamed by this girl because another person in my colors said that all girls suck at gaming, and she decided to send me a message every time she died, and teabag me repeatedly when she killed me. I'm a girl, btw. I replied with "gender in no way whatsoever affects gaming ability" and proceeded to beat the shit out of her and everyone else in that Halo 3 match.

Sweaty and irritated hands. I get sore thumbs and sweaty hands all the time, I need to put some talc on em before I play or summet...

Stupid AI, in particular a type of AI in a certain Pokemon game that enjoys prancing off in a different direction to which their leader is trying to drag them in.

ilovesalt = way cooler. :D
Indeed it is.

Heh, that reminds me of a quote from Reeves & Mortimer that no-one but me will get...

"Hiya, D'ya want some salt?"

Very well, I'm mad.

Mine is Death Trousers, why?
Because I have trousers of death, that's why.

2) when my mother interrupts me (and only me, never anyone else) every ten minutes to do completely assinine chores.
Most certainly agreed. It's guaranteed to happen just as I'm getting immersed in the game.
Or a sister comign down to blast her shitty music, ask me what's going on, or making noises one would expect from a retard (last one is just me, unfortunately)

Most recently this occurence has happened when I'm getting into a nice marathon session, she comes down and whenever the announcer say the name of my character, in most cases, either noel=vermillion or taokaka, my sister then repeats the characters name in an exaggerated version of the announcer... anyway, hackers, n00bs (the idiot kind, not the new player kind) and gramers (screwattacks name for the ones who grunt at each other playing halo/madden)

Online: Roleplayers.
I dont care if they are the super-mega-awesome-doom-wolf that has been awoken from a thousand year slumber and their roleplaying friend is this fairy princess who has to cut her wrists every three seconds because of some lost love she longs for.
I am here to play a game, without my message box spammed with random world chats of "blasts you with super powered energy beam" "Flies to the heavens before dropping down in a pool of blood". And I dont see why I have to turn it off when I am trying to organise a team together over world chat!!

Offline: Power cords looking the same.
My mother mistakened the playstation plug for the radio plug...

This. So often. Especially when people interrupt for no good reason, not to give me something to do even - just to interrupt and get a little attention. It's almost as if they're asking to get yelled at.

[small] I really need to move out...[/small]

Your quote reminded me of another quote from those tourettes guy videos.

*smashes salt off table* "FUCK SALT!"

Ohhh that's too funny. And being mad is quite nice, isn't it?

That's it? Really? that's the best that guy could come up with?!? I mean what kind of pathetic nerd- oh yeah. Right. Forgot where I was...

Oh, and anyone that can use the word "happenstance" properly in a sentence is cool with me. I guess I'm just a fan of the english language, and not this phonetic crap I see everywhere. (Your aforementioned PM being a perfect example.)

Gee, thanks for the confidence. Seriously, I could be your DAD. I just don't seem to have a problem communicating with people way younger than me. Go figure, I play video games ;)

Suddenly I feel creepy.

Gotta go...
Yes really, that's the best he could come up with. Needless to say he received a polite reply 'No.'

I used to have a Canadian friend that called me a 'lexiconniseur'. That was back when I actually read my 'word of the day' emails from Dictionary.com more than once, and made an effort to learn it. /: But at least I can still use happenstance! And whence, which means from where, not when as most people think... And other useless shit like that.

I don't think it's creepy, I think it's cool. I've always delighted in talking to adults, and it's quite the odd phenomenon where kids just won't talk to anyone older than them. We're not quite as clever as many of my generation think they are. The exception being me, I'm bloody brilliant. ^^

My dad used to play Turok with me, these days we just drink beer and laugh about shit together. So you can understand my lack of bias towards you for being 'old enough to be my dad'.

:D

When the game throws in Training mode in the main single player mode.
FFS I know how to walk/jump/run/shoot/use a vehicle and I don't need your help to tell me how to do it again.

If someone badly needs a training they do a training mode like Half-Life did and Half-Life Opposing Force too. THOSE where good training maps and taught you all the things you needed to know.

That's too true, unfortunately. Fortunately I don't play Halo 3.

The telephone! I hate it when the phone rings when I'm in the middle of an intense gaming session. I've actually broken several phones in rage because of that.
