You honestly don't know? How is that even possible?Hauntghost20 said:OKay i have seen 4chan all over the place saying that its threating and everything so do u mind telling me what/who it is
Stay away from /b/?conchshellthegeek7 said:Basically, it's an image board site with a bad reputation.
Based on what I've heard, it's actually not that bad of a site, but the worst of the various image boards is one called /b/, which you should try to stay away from.
Also, some people think 4chan secretly rules the Internet.
That will teach you for wandering into /d/ hahahaha.Hauntghost20 said:Update: HOLY SJIT I JUST WENT TO THE WEBSITE AHHHHHHHHHHH BAD BOOBS!!
Which is why I stopped going there. /f/ was an awesome sub-forum years ago but all the damn /b/tards invaded and just turned it into another /b/, except now they could put their thoughts into flash videos. It completely ruined /f/.Scout Tactical said:Escapist rages every time 4chan is brought up. Few of them actually know anything about REAL 4chan. Everyone thinks the whole website is /b/. It's not. You can immediately spot a board newbie (colloquially 'newfag') if they think every board is like /b/. There are plenty of friendly boards with actually good people on there. /ck/ has great cooking tips, /r/ is good for acquisitions, and /co/ is love. That's right, there's a board with a reputation for having relatively nice posters.
But even then, people complain 4chan is NSFW. This isn't even true. There ARE NSFW boards, but not all of them are. In fact, the background color of the boards changes if you go onto a NSFW board, and you will get a prompt warning you.
In truth, 4chan is about absolute free speech. There's a lot of vocal hatred, but a surprisingly large amount of good will, too. It is something that must be experienced, not described, and most of the people who will tell you about it here haven't REALLY experienced it for themselves. They're passing on rumors about how bad they've heard it is.
I can vouch that this Escapee is correct.Scout Tactical said:Escapist rages every time 4chan is brought up. Few of them actually know anything about REAL 4chan.
