OT: A image board website that caters to many different interests and hobbies. A lot of discussion pop up on different boards, though most are kinda silly and/or stupid.
It is also a site that gets extremely overblown by almost everyone, especially the media.

4chan is an imageboard where users are allowed to post ANYTHING except Child Pornography (but some users do it anyway despite the consequences). It is the volatile melting pot where memes are created, and it's so volatile that you best not come near it.

THeres a lot more to 4Chan than just tits. There are people whoo will fuck with other people for no good reason, people who will post things nobody wants to see. People who honestly wish death on people they don't know and peope who laugh at things like murder, rape, torture and the like. There are good parts of 4Chan, sure, but the bad parts are pure evil.

It's not bad, it was made a few months ago after people in /A/ the animé board got sick of the amount of Pokemon threads

It's actually pretty good, occasionally there are humorous pokemon pictures, other times battle techniques and a fair few alternate art threads so it's pretty good if a little repetitive

As far as I know, it's a site choke-full of teenagers and lonely adults + strange things. 4chan has made me laugh some times, they take Warhammer 40,000 seriously with humour and for that my respect is given.

On topic: 4chan is, well, 4chan. It's a pretty cool site filled with stuff that could interest just about anyone really. Just avoid the boards that don't cater to your own personal tastes and you'll be good.

Please avoid run-on sentences when telling someone to use correct grammar.

I've never been to 4chan, but I go to 4walled for most of my wallpaper. Even the most innocent search will lead you to some NWSF, but you can turn safe search on.

I do know that 4chan's Anonymous group was linked to hacking during the Julian Assange case. In defense of him and WikiLeaks, they were suspected of halting sites such as Mastercard, Visa, and PayPal.
