What is really is:
A 'forum' without users and lots of images. In other words, a paradise on the Internet, without annoying moderators banning everyone, users stroking their post counts, etc etc.

What you'd be lead to believe it is:
A secret organization that controls the internet and directs attack.

I've been on a lot of forums [video games and otherwise] but it's the only one I actually regularly post on anymore. It also helps that the lack of usernames/avatars/all of that forum shit puts off a lot of prospective 13 years old and other such scum who want some e-recognition.

THeres a lot more to 4Chan than just tits. There are people whoo will fuck with other people for no good reason, people who will post things nobody wants to see. People who honestly wish death on people they don't know and peope who laugh at things like murder, rape, torture and the like. There are good parts of 4Chan, sure, but the bad parts are pure evil.

4Chan is a decent place, despite /b/ being the only board that a lot of people know about and therefore thinks the entire place is like that.
