Dead Space, I got it for the Pc and it was just not fun to play in the slightest. Awful controls and just an overall disapointment.
At least you had something to take your mind off the dull game play. You really were not missing anything

Farcry 2 was horrible. It COULD have been amazing, but they just threw in so many unwieldy and completely unnecessary gimmicks (malaria pills? Guns that break all the time? Why on earth did they bother putting that stuff in?).

For me, it just made the game unplayable.

"Morrowind" was the first TES game I tried - and after all the hype and great reviews, I expected something wonderful. I was... disappointed, to say the least. Never could force myself to get beyond Balmora.

Had a similar thing with "Oblivion" later, so it's just a TES thing, I guess.

Probably GTA IV. Well, I didn't hate it, but still. I think I'm not alone.

Oh, damn. Forgot GTA IV. That wasn't good at all. I still prefer SA.
A whole 4 people cannot be wrong, GTA IV sucked.

i was surprised (and so were my friends) that i hated Final Fantasy 7 so much. and the thing is, i can't explain why. every time i play it, it gets boring and i find myself cringing every time i hit a random encounter. i think the characters are badass (except for yuffie), but the game annoys me.

i think that Final Fantasy 8 is a better game than it's predecessor any day of the week.

Being one of those die-hard closet Harvest Moon fans I was greatly disappointed at "Its a wonderful life" for the GC. My poor little dude starved every day cause he couldn't grow any plants or milk his cows, and he couldn't milk his cows or water his plants so they'd grow cause he was always out of energy from starving.

I still can't get enough of the N64 harvest moon though. God help me there's just something about it that I can't stop planting! It probably helps that after a few years of playing (real time not game time) I decided to start naming my livestock after members of the various star trek crews. Just for shits and giggles "Capt Picard is pregnant!" or my favorite sheep I bought just to kill "Namless Ensign got sick and died"

Far Cry. It's a pretty good game for its day, up until the end-of-level "boss" sections where you have to basically stand still and hold off a couple dozen enemies with rockets, gattling cannons, helicopters and boats while waiting for an unspecified length of time..... and managing, by sheer blind luck, to kill a gattling gunner in a helicopter from medium range with a submachine gun, only to find another guy behind you in a stationary gattling turret, or killing several boats firing ridiculously powerful long-range rockets, and two helicopters full of people, only to be pinned down with no ammo by one last 'copter with a gattling gun that will kill you in half a second if you expose but a finger..... yeah. It isn't going to return to my HD any time soon.

GTA4 I won't even bother trying, from what I've heard and some research I did myself I came to the conclusion that it sucked absolute balls.

Saints Row 2, the game runs choppily at a very low graphics level (despite many other games running fine at much better graphics), the whole "gangsta" thing is really pushed onto you whether you want it or not (e.g. I don't, I have a deep-seated loathing for the whole gangsta thing, I don't even care about San Andreas until after you get out of Los Santos, after which it rocks), and the whole respect thing..... yeah, nice idea, but not really my cup of tea.

Deus Ex. I mean, I'm sure it's good and all, and a landmark milestone game or whatever, but like someone else said before me, finally managing to kill all baddies in sight, achieve your objectives and then die because some dickwad shot you with a poisoned dart.....

Dawn of War: Soulstorm. Two words: Memory leak. You don't want to know.

Company of Heroes/Blitzkrieg II: Both fairly average WWII RTSes, Blitzkrieg II just plain sucked, CoH was more interesting but ultimately I far, far prefer the Codename: Panzers games.

X3: Reunion, I'd heard good things about the game but when I'd installed it, the lame backstory and absolutely atrocious animation in the intro disgusted me so much I never even played it.

Halo 2. It came out back when I was still a fan of the Halo series, and this game alone is the main reason why I'm not anymore. For some reason, the developers thought it would be a good idea to trash the storyline of what once was a very single-player-oriented game for the sake of good multiplayer. If the multiplayer had actually been great enough to make up for the crappy single-player, I probably wouldn't have minded as much.

Also, if Halo 2 had been just like (or at least similar to) that announcement trailer that Bungie showed us before the release (the one that shows the battle in the Earth city, back when the battle rifle was semi-automatic, you could perform melee attack combos, and all the other shit was actually cool...), I would have loved it. But nooooo... They went right along and changed everything when the only problems that the trailer compile had were some bugs that could have been fixed without rewriting the entire game.

I would say GTA 4, but I knew it was going to be 'meh' when I found out the first you had to was be a taxi driver. So I'll go with Resistance 2 because Resistance: Fall of man was the best fps I've ever played. Resistance imo, was the unofficial Halo 4, only more unbalanced and without vehichles. Ultimately it was the fact that everything I had liked about R:FOM was removed so that they could spend more time making trailers and hyping the game up so that legions of clueless idiots would invade gamestop and buy the game on the justification that the last game was awesome. I was sadly one of them. Never again will I play a game without seeing gameplay and knowing what the developer intends to include in the game. If i had known that Resistance 2 featured a linear brown generic campaign with unlikeable characters, an extremely repetitive co-op campaign, and the most unbalanced multiplayer in history, featuring a record 13 ways to cheaply kill your opponents; not only would I have not bought the game, I would've immeadiately and immaturely went to 30 differents forums to spam my complaints about this game.

5 Names spring to mind

Lets start off with first of all. Final Fantasy X-2
I was really psyched to see where they'd take the already odd story of FFX and wondered how they could possibly make a Part 2 with some of the characters having a hard time appearing.
I'm a fan of the FF series but this was a disaster after even the opening cutscene.

Next up. Phantasy Star Universe.
Ok. I'll admit. I don't hate the game. but I'm appauled with the Episodic cutscenes at beginning and end of chapters.
Also. Last two bosses. Wasn't even funny how quickly i killed them and at such a low level

Infinite Undiscovery comes next. just for as much as I've played of it (It might get better I don't know.) It just got a bit predictable. Combat in it really did just annoy me in general. And the killing blow... Capell's Voice. "Daaaancing Rhaaapsody!!!" Please save me?

Previously mentioned Golden Sun and It's sequel.
Where there's just one point of the game that if you don't get a certain skill and continue so far. You get stuck and to put the cherry on top. It is Impossible to pass. And when a Game throws a Move like then it deserves the anger and abuse it gets

Finally as also mentioned Earlier. Fable 2
It's just not as awesome as I expected the sequel to one of my favourite games to be.

Final Fantasy 12. I have been a massive fan since 7 to the point where I would buy them all on release day. The combat system in 12 was, in my opinion, poo and now I await 13 with fingers crossed.

Super Mario Galaxy.

I heard how much everyone liked it, I liked Sunshine and SM64, I just couldn't bring myself to like this one. It's the only Wii game I've bought and not finished.

Fallout 3. I don't exactly hate it, but I can't bring myself to like it near as much as I did Oblivion. I had very high expectations for loving it, and I hardly ever play it, I'm not really sure what it is...
