Yes, thinking is rather embarrassing.

Edit: Eh, may as well.

I was afraid of the dark. Or, more specifically, what was in the darkness.

Maybe he's reverted to some truly scarring memory from his childhood and is now sitting in a corner rocking back and forth, crying for his mummy...

this story my parents gave to me as a child called "The Body" was true.
its a lifless blob of flesh that eats children if they are up at night.

Ontopic: Until i was about 10, I was scared of the dark. I'm still scared of creepy crawlie insects.

Usually, when I wear kids, I like to go out and...

... oh, wait. WERE a kid.

Might I take his/her wallet?

Edit... on topic, I ran around saying "dick" during first grade or so once, having no idea what it meant, but being utterly amused at the teacher's responses to a word in a book's title.

I always though George Washington's ghost was in my basement, so whenever my mom asked me to go get the laundry from down there, I'd always close my eyes, bolt down the stairs, feel around for the laundry, and run back up.
All the deceased world leaders vacate to the basements of young children, it is a interesting phenomenon.

I guess I can just read the title and answer that question, or be a dick and notice how he accidentally submitted early.

I was afraid of heights for awhile due to a stair case incident. Also, I wouldn't walk in puddles for reasons beyond just getting wet.

I believe he was trying to make an example template, as in "make a post like this: When I was a kid I thought (insert fear here)"

Nonetheless my first reaction was how terrible it must have been to be a thinking child xP

The only odd fear I had was that I was afraid that when I was asleep a bunch of monsters would break through my window and eat me, so I always slept with my back to the window (my bed was right next to it).

That is, until I imagined myself as a huge, muscular man with a pair of shotguns blowing them away, then I wasn't afraid of the window at night anymore. (Seriously, that's how I overcame my fear as a kid xP )

*wispears* I thought when I was a kid too. It's a little harder now though....

OT: Clowns! I am still scared of them. I remember I was IHOP one time and there was a clown trying to be friendly with me and I ran behind my mom. This was when I was like 14 or 15.

I was also scared of squirrels after one bit me when I was younger (still dont like the suckers).

I was, and still am, terrified of needles. They just freak me the hell out and I usually have to be pinned down before I let anyone stick a piece of metal in me.

May he rest in pieces, or wait, or is it peace?
