You KNOW... that the world is only an ilusion manufactured by aliens. They turn it off, when you are under a cover, or closing the eyes in the shower. (But when you open them to fast, or flip the cover too fast you can see them staring at you).

Thats what i thought for a while. I always made sure to warn the aliens before i did that... only so i don't have to see the truth. Yeah... i was weird sometimes *g*.

EDIT: Oh and a bit more mundane: I HATED worms. But its more of a panicked disgust than fear. But you could chase me with them... that's what counts.

I always though George Washington's ghost was in my basement
Why? I find that concept interesting.
I think it had something to do with me seeing him in a history book one day, and then that night I saw some horror flick. I guess I had a nightmare, which was set in a basement, combing the two.

I had a fear of being alone in a room with any open closetdoors. I hated clostedoors. Wich has lead to that today I ALWAYS close my closet afte being there.

I was, and still am, terrified of needles. They just freak me the hell out and I usually have to be pinned down before I let anyone stick a piece of metal in me.

When I was a kid, I was scared of emu, you know those tall blue birds kind of like an ostrich.

I was probably around 4 years old or something and my parents took me to a petting zoo where they let the animals loose in fields, and we started feeding this emu some popcorn. We started to walk away and the emu followed where ever we went. It scared the crap out of me! I haven't seen an emu for a while so I haven't been able to test that fear recently. Maybe I just don't think a bird should be that big.......

Back then (and still to this day), I had a very large fear of spiders. I'm an arachnophobic. Anytime a spider that had a body larger than my pinky fingernail (not including legs) crawled near me, I would scream like a little girl (I don't scream any longer. These days I just stand there paralyzed with fear). This led to a lot of bad memories at school.

I feared the kitchen stove. Because I'd seen enough horror/action movies to know that a gas leak equals BOOM! and therefore was so paranoid about being in the room with the gas on and when I tried cooking things alone I would often make a mistake, it would burst into flames I would put it out desperatley turn the gas on and hear an ominous 'clicking' sound and I would run out of the room and desperatley call my parents for aid.
I'm still kind of scared of it, if you want the real truth.
