I bet that goes down well.The7Sins said:See my avitar? Its become a nice tradition for me to do on the 4th. I'll probably have some barbeque from the best barbeque place in town while watching the "barbeque" happen.
I would advise you against it too not due to the protests but the uncomfortably ridiculous humidity and just a general lack of patriotism on Canada Day. You're better off going to the Maritimes or Ontario.Dags90 said:Why? Some peaceful student protests?Psykoma said:I would be inclined to advise avoiding montreal at this time.
Scary stuff.
I live south of Montreal in greater NYC. It's just as humid and slightly hotter here.Goofguy said:I would advise you against it too not due to the protests but the uncomfortably ridiculous humidity and just a general lack of patriotism on Canada Day. We don't really go for Canada Day, but the Jazz Festival and Canada Day happen to coincide. The only thing that kinda sucks is all the Quebecois.
So... you're going to try and take over America on the ONE day where every single American has dangerous explosives in their possession? Not the best plan.Lethos said:Trying to take over America.

Not sure if you're kidding or not, but I'll explain anyways. The 4th of July is Independence Day. Quite literally, the day the USA declared it's independence.Total LOLige said:I haven't the faintest idea what the 4th of July celebrates. I know it's something to do with America, if it's against the British pics or it didn't happen.
