My spouses days-off land on the 4th and 5th, but he doesn't want to host the BBQ this year. So we will either be going to a friends house to 'celebrate' and go home early OR have a quiet dinner and drink at home, watch the fireworks from our backyard, sex and then sleep. Perhaps even catch a movie the next morning. Brave. Do want to see.
Well...this year, a band I like is actually doing a live show here in my podunk little backwater for the fourth. So yeah, that's what I'm doing. I've had the tickets for a month.
