always loved the KH series. they are beautifully put together games with just the right amount of disney magic. also, disney in a game which isn't horrendous, is an achievement in itself. prefer the first to the second, mainly because it blew me away so much, but also because i thought the story was more well-balanced with the gameplay. the second was on the same sort of level though.

I've spent a worrying amount of time in the capital wasteland and liberty city just... existing in them. Away from the real world.
Resident Evil remake. After only playing it for an hour on a friends gc, i begged to borrow and was refused so i went out the next day and bought a gamecube and well...i still have my gamecube and i still play it. Dark and scary but at the same time camp and cheesy, pure gold.

and (because of the nostalgia) Zelda: Majoras Mask because it seemes realy imaginative to me at the time, its like the characters from zelda were cast to a play that was a reinvention of Armagedon so i thought it was kinda funny
some games i was interested on during last generation i skipped accidentaly so im still trying to find Beyond Good and evil and other games

There are so many... I loved and can still replay Final Fantasy 7 whenever I pop in the disc. Everquest was an obsession for years and I explored everything I could, join a guild, raided, but now I'm glad I quit MMO's so I can't call it my number 1. Half-Life and HL2 are great, Command & Conquer/Red Alert introduced me to the RTS genre, and I've probably never been as good at an FPS as I was at Medal of Honor: Allied Assault but I just can't put any of those in the number 1 spot.
#1 has to go to Counter Strike. I've played it the longest, I love both 1.6 and Source, and whenever I get tired of everything else I always end up playing CS again.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. There's just something about that game that's kept me going back to it periodically since it first came out. It's the closest thing (video game-wise) to perfection that I can think of. Especially the soundtrack.
Heard that, it's so awesome (and Sora doesn't sound like a 7-year old) However, I think the game would be better off without the beginning with controlling Roxas. It takes between half an hour and a whole hour to come to the real action with Sora. The dual-wield mode is fucking sweet, I love games where you fight super-fast in big cluster-fucks.EdwinMDA said:

Rock Band. No game has made all of my friends and myself come together to enjoy a fun time of pretending to be rockstars like this one. Everyone enjoys it, from midgets to misers, from breasts to testicles. And with their ongoing support, whether you play the first or the second game, makes me continue to like the company more than any other by a longshot. There are some games that come a close second, but Rock Band is by far the best, most intuitive game to come along in a long time. And I still haven't "mastered" it, in the sense that I haven't become proficient in all four instruments, so there is still room to grow.

Holy shit, I never thought I'd meet a Jak & Daxter fan, that game series is so awesome! But when is the next one coming, I wonder? Jak X was good, but not really that great of a game, and just seemed to be a side-story (although Daxter for PSP was sweet!).Mew_chan said:The Jak series...
