JRPGs suck balls. Go Fallout 3!
That's why JRPG's are so popular and have such a great fanbase. Because the suck balls!

Fallout 3 isn't that good anyway. Mediocre at best if you compare it to better RPG's.
Like what?
Which RPG's? The Chrono games, Persona 3 and DDS for exmaple.

I'm just going to expand my original statement to: go Fallout!

Well the first one is good but I think that the second one is better.

Fable was great, Not as bad as people said. But i got there without hearing the hypes so...

But it's a tie between, Fable, Sacred 1(People hated, it but i loved it) and Fallout 1

I agree with the OP on KOTOR 1 & 2. Mass effect is also very good. Vampires - The Masquerade: Bloodlines was more of an Action/RPG but it was undoubtebly one of the best i've played.

In no particular order:

Golden Sun (GBA)
Golden Sun 2 (GBA)
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (GBA)
Final Fantasy IV (GBA)

Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (DS)

Fallout 3 (PC)
KOTOR (PC)

Zelda: OoT (N64)

Shamefully, I haven't played Chrono Trigger. I'm also having a lot of trouble getting into Mass Effect on PC.

Arcanum all the way.

If only they playtested the game before release... oh, well, at least there's a Fan-made patch.

I'll just say this: Any game where you can fornicate a sheep for 25 bucks is no bad game.

Hmmm...tough call. I like so many different RPGs for different reasons. Loved the combat in Grandia 2, love the weirdness of Persona 4, love the scope of Oblivion, love the story of KOTOR.

But then there's Illusion of Gaia, Arx Fatalis, Dark Cloud 2, Neverwinter Nights, Lost Odyssey, Koudelka (and several subsequent Shadow Hearts games)...the list goes on and on.
Is Dark Cloud 2 like the original? I looked on wikipedia and it looked all animé...y.

Baldurs Gate II

Planescape: Torment could have been a really close call, but unfortunatly for that game, its story wasnt as strongly supported by its gameplay, and it also had some terrible bugs. People tend to overlook those things, but I dont, and only ever place it above BG II when it comes to game storylines only.
Exactly! Torment might have a real trippy story and be awesome for that, but the graphics, combat, sidequests and everything around it are not nearly as good as in BG2.

The only aspect that I find flawed in BG2 is perhaps that the game is simply very confusing at first.....but personally I found even those stumbling first hours mindblowing.

...and Golden Sun on the GBA are all great.
Goddamn it. Beaten to it. I fucking love these games. I'm replaying them now. I never actually bought them...my cousin had both. Damn they're so...addictive. I played until like, 5 am with school the next day last week.

Silly me.
