other than the obligatory still alive from portal, these are my favs, and yeah alot of them are from the silent hill series

my fav from SH3

this one has a little story, i had this as part of some background music for a gaming session (a bunch of instrumental tracks mainly) and it happened to cue up and it freaked out the players, nothing like music to add tension to a dungeon.

i miss this game

side note: if running a call of cuthulhu game or something that requires a tense soundtrack, use anything from the fatal frame series, especially ones that are for a specific ghosts.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree. The Donut's song from Splosion Man was pretty good too. I also enjoy the music from Final Fantasy and Mega Man but Still Alive is still the best.
