Well, besides the obvious answer of "Ocarina of Time", I really enjoyed Link's Awakening and Majora's Mask, although the Oracle games and Wind Waker were also both fairly interesting.

I'm sure MANY people will disagree with me, but my favorite is Wind Waker.

My least favorite is Spirit Tracks. Sure, I haven't played it yet. But it's Link on a freakin' TRAIN. Fail!

I loved, loved, loved OoT, its my favorite singe game ever, but the Oracle games for the Gameboy Color together created a gaming package only rivaled by the Orange Box.
Yeah the GBC oracle games rule.

To me it is Ocarina of Time, that game I've beaten over 20 times and I can still play it and enjoy it. It's hard for games to do that in my opinion. Second comes Twilight Princess, and then third is Majora's Mask.

Err... Excuse me? Links Awakening is still one of the best games I've played to date.
Agreed 100%...but that's only because i've only ever played that game and 15 minutes of twilight princess.

What is it the shop keeper kills you with if you steal from his shop I always thought it was a lazer but doesnt really fit in with the setting.

I really am fond of Ocarina, what with the epic storytelling and great gameplay for the 64, but I found that Twilight Princess is basically a better version of that with the day/nighttime/animal transformation thing that Nintendo played around with for awhile--fortunately, this experience hasn't been ruined for me because I haven't played more than two games with that feature--Twilight Princess and Sonic Unleashed, which wasn't going from day to night as much as it was playing one kind of level with light and the other without.
So one of the two.

LoZ for the NES was one of the first games I owned. Loved it ... and every Zelda game that followed ... its hard to say what one I liked more then another because every "new" experience always seems better to me. I must say that TP has to be the best because of the story, controls, graphics, etc... I think WW would be second for me because of the shear "surprise" factor that I had when I played it ... I was disapointed when I read about the game and expected something too differant and whatnot... but it blew me away with how well it was put together... third is a tie between OoT and LttP ... each my favorite game for their respective system ... but the long and the short of it is that every zelda game is amazing ... well ... maybe not the CDi ones lol...

I like Majora's Mask,
followed by Four Sword Adventure, simply because of this:
Seek you the world?
Seek you power?
Does your soul despise peace and thirst for more?
Does your soul cry for destruction and conquest?
We grant you power to ruin the world.
The power of darkness.
Evil spirit of magic trident.
You are the King of Darkness."

-Inscription in Pyramid
Four Swords Adventures

When me and my friends read this all of us instantly pictured it as aome sort of infomercial of evil, and laghed about it for months.

Link to the Past. It had everything the first two had and then some.

Ocarina of Time was pretty cool. The only reason I leave it behind is because I HATE the whole "kid" thing. Even as a child, I didn't want to be a child!

Majora's Mask was even worse in that department.

The cel shading one made me want to vomit with rage.

I swore off Nintendo after that and have yet to buy one of their systems or game since.

Majora's Mask.

The moon freaked the living daylights out of me. The story was well written and I honestly felt for the characters as they experienced their perils over and over.

I honestly felt bad for Kafei at times when I walked passed him.

Objectively: OoT
Subjectively: ALtTP or MM

...Though I'm not a huge fan of the series.

I think twilight princess took top spot for me.
Now my second place is a tie between OOT and A link to the past.
