What is the cheapest way you have ever killed a boss/mini-boss/tough enemy?

Haven't done it myself, but watching my friend play Monster Hunter Freedom 2 on the psp, if he finds something strong, he gets a ranged weapon, sits on whatever convenient ledge there ALWAYS seems to be that he cannot be attacked on, and shoots it about 400 times until it dies.

You know how in fighting games you can knock someone down and not give them a chance to get up?
Yeah, that.
I also beat all of Fable with one dirt cheap move: The Solus Greatsword.

My personal cheapest win (besides phoenix downs, which I don't think really count) was the Archdemon in Dragon Age: Origins.Get to a ballista, turn it towards him, and just fire constantly for about six or seven minutes. The ballista hits stun-lock him in a recoil animation, and your allies can almost always keep the smaller baddies off of you. Only problem with this is that you can't really tell when the Archdemon is dead, and the boss fight doesn't end until his 'recoil' animation does, so I did this for going on twenty minutes before considering that possibility and finally stopping.

Icewind Dale, the endboss demon.
All it took was a single "finger of death."
Was equally surprised and dissapointed.

New Super Mario Bros DS. Mega Mushroom. Insta-win.

It isn't technically cheating as it is in the game but it still makes me feel a little dirty.

Well, in Jade Empire, close to the end, you fight 3 different bosses in the same room. The first consists of 3 mobs. I managed to get two of those stuck behind walls and other objects while I killed the single one. Then I got one mob unstuck and killed it while the last one was still desperately trying to get past some rubble. In my defence, I was playing on the highest difficulty and I had died like 30 times to this fight before I noticed I could do this. And even then it was damnably hard.

Then a few minutes later, you fight the second boss. You can more or less stunlock him into walls and kill him wihtout ever having him move. Then again, if he lands one hit on you, you die, so I consider that a fair trade aswell.

Same thing with the third boss. Stunlock-ahoy. Not particulary exciting but I had already died like two hundred times to get to that part of the game.

I don't know if anyone's already mentioned this (didn't want to read through all 4 pages of responses) but when you're fighting Pig Josh in Red Dead Revolver, there's a building with a broken roof you can jump on that where he can't get you with his explosives. I did that the first time playing through.

Also, in DeathSpank, I horded all my invincibility orbs and used them during tough boss fights, leaving me free to simply hack and slash my way to victory without downing a single potion.

Edit: Also, not really a boss, but in Morrowind I really wanted some Ordinator armor, so I got a bunch of money, went to Vivick, and attacked the first one I saw that was alone. When he turned and told me to pay a fine or go to jail, I paid the fine. Then I hit him again. I just repeated this process until he died and grabbed all his shit.

One of the awesome things about GTA:SA is that you you could unlock free molotov-cocktail pickups at your house (with the collectable hunt) and become immune to fire (with the fire-fighter missions).

It's hard to describe how overpowered that combo is >:)

In kotor, there's this cheat where if you attack, and then save and load that save, your enemy isn't in attack mode and you can attack them.

To beat a boss I had to do this process roughly 30 times

In Mass Effect 2, there is this unit called Harbinger, which shows up every fight against the Collectors. Bastard must have killed me a hundred times by stunlocking me out of cover with that damn power of his, then butchering me and my buddies with a hailstorm of fireballs. Very annoying.

In Neverwinter Nights that red dragon boss Klauth, I gliched out the entryway door so it locked shut with me outside and then I just spammed blade barrier until Klauth felt the need to finally die. It felt cheap, but was also a great laugh seeing such a nasty boss die.

I remember a boss in one of the Far Cry games on the original xbox. He got stuck in a pillar so I melee'd him to death with ease.

The End in MGS3 I made him die of Old Age.
Oh man, I remember that. I thought I was the shit when I did that.

OT: Using the turret to kill RAAM. I know, thats what it's there for, but me and a friend killed him in co-op on Insane using a sniper rifle and Torque Bow before we knew about the turret and after that whenever I used it, it felt cheap.
You can do it on purpose by putting the date on your PS 2 forward.

In Oblivion, any enemy that got my health low enough, I sneakily pressed pause and changed the difficulty to the easiest. They never stood a chance against my superior intelect and planning

Killed Priere on Disgaea by throwing her onto a platform, killing her 2 level 1500 guards and chipping her to death for about 20 turns whilst using Braveheart to buff attack.

I can justify it considering My highest level at that point was 600 and grinding up to killing her legimitly would take about 20 hours of play time.

I personally can't remember doing anything really cheap, so I'll just tell something my sister did.

In Oblivion, she was doing the Umbra sword quest. She failed at actually dualing Umbra, so she ran to the Imperial city and used an invisibility spell. Around 20 guards attacked Umbra and the AI wasn't prepared for the guards, so Umbra just stood there staring to emptiness while being gangbanged by the guards. Possibly one of the cheapest boss kills ever.

Mega Man X:
Killing Spark Mandril with Shotgun Ice. Freeze, break, freeze, break, freeze, break, win.

Seriously, ridiculous.
