The most recent one was a cheap NBA Jam. For 40 euros. Take that, EA. Went to 5 shops searching for less than 50 and even found one for 60. 60 euros! Sure thing, after I give 60 for that, I am gonna go and punch Mike Tyson.

Tombai because it rarely turns up on ebay and when it does it's around £50-£100

Disgaea was quite hard to find for many but I got it on a day one release so I must have been quite lucky, on ebay it goes for about £50 which I'm annoyed that my copy broke :/

Kula World, I've never even seen it anywhere to buy and I've wanted it so badly since I was a kid

Gorky 17 :(

Also, there are others, and some, I download off pirate websites, because I just can't find them.

Between GOG, Steam and re-releases I always manage to find games I want, and I never buy games from local retail stores because they're too expensive (I just order them online). But I'm still trying to get my hands on The Darkness, although to be fair I'm not trying that hard.

Well, I had to check eBay regularly for about 3 years until I was able to finally getting the 'Loom Enhanced Version'.

Hardest game to find. Ever. Been looking ever since I found out about it. 2 years and counting.

I was going to say Tombi as well, but luckily I caught a break recently and got it from a guy selling it quite cheap. The price was 20£ or so, maybe a little more, so I was really happy about that.

If you have a PS3, you can get Kula World of PSN, but I'm guessing you don't or you would probably know already.

I still haven't found it. Its a SNES game with a character that attacks with his hair... I have photographic memories of that game, but still can find it...

Dammit, I really want a ps3 now :(
£20 for Tombai is incredibly lucky, I've seen someone fork out 5 times that much. If it came out on the PSN I would probably sell some stuff and go buy a PS3 on the day

I've Mentioned this before many times. But Shadow of the Collosus was this for me. After spending forever trying to find one, I give up. Finding absolutely no hint of a copy anywhere. A few months later, I head to some Gamestore at a shopping centre too far away to get to regularly to pick up another game I had ordered. I find SotC it in a display case. God it was a good feeling when I saw it there. Perfect quality box too.

2nd place is a working copy of MGS3. Managed to find a beat-up case with a good disc, as well as God of War 1 & 2 in a box at a electronics store. Unfortunately it was the fixed camera verison. But I'll take what I can get.

Garrett! Let's go fight Mechanists! :D (I love seeing other people with Thief avatars!)

OT: In stores, I can't find Animal Crossing for the DS anywhere. I suppose that's actually a good thing because I don't want to lose my life to that game. Again. Finding a proper collectors edition of Morrowind was a bit hard for me, but I have it, and I can't find a good PC copy of Marathon 2. I know that game is open sourced AND on Xbox Live Arcade... but I really want a physical copy of it. At least they still sell merchandise for the game. *curls up in Marathon hoodie*

Also American McGee's Alice
and Hogs of War (ps1)

I catch the trail, follow it to the depths of the internet and *poof* gone... Dammit!

Yea, I've been checking ebay for quite a long time and I'm just to cheap to give that much for a game, even one as awesome as Tombi is. But yea, it's weird that it isn't released on PSN, just judging from ebay alone and those outrageous prices there, it should sell atleast moderately well. I also believe there have been numerous petitions and such for it, but no luck so far.

Other than that, PSN is pretty awesome, they've got some pretty good classics on there.

I can't really think of that many games, that I've had such a hard time tracking down, Tombi, in this day and age have really been the hardest by far to get. Most other games I have wanted, I've been able to find on ebay.

I haven't played this in a while but Resident Evil 4, it took me months. I still haven't got my hands on Shadow of the Colossus.
