NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona. Finally found it about two months ago, after 5-6 years. Also Firefighter F.D.18 has yet to be found after the same time...

Ground Control 1. I played it as a kid and loved it, and was thoroughly underwhelmed by the sequel, and then when i finally found it, i learnt that there was an expansion pack too :) That was a good day.

Also, the expansion to alpha centuri: Alien Crossfire. ***** of a game to track down.

Yea, I've been checking ebay for quite a long time and I'm just to cheap to give that much for a game, even one as awesome as Tombi is. But yea, it's weird that it isn't released on PSN, just judging from ebay alone and those outrageous prices there, it should sell atleast moderately well. I also believe there have been numerous petitions and such for it, but no luck so far.

Other than that, PSN is pretty awesome, they've got some pretty good classics on there.

I can't really think of that many games, that I've had such a hard time tracking down, Tombi, in this day and age have really been the hardest by far to get. Most other games I have wanted, I've been able to find on ebay.
Well that's something that would probably annoy me, I still own a lot of my old ps1 games and if I have to pay for them again so I can play them again

Hmm is there a difference because I remember there was a difference between the UK version and North American version in the names. Are you American by any chance?

Like the subject says, what was the hardest game for you to track down? I know that you can go onto ebay and get almost any game, but what was the hardest for you to find at the game stores in your area that you play on a regular basis?

Myself it was the first Disgaia. Took me two years of hardcore looking at various local game shops to find it.
Evolution Worlds.

Because Linear is worth it. :p

Also, counting non-store, every Cardcaptor Sakura Game.

Seriously, harder to find than Christ.
Good god, its so fucking hard to hunt the Cardcaptor games down.
As for my hardest-to-find game, either Starcraft for N64 or Ogre Battle 64.
Both of those were a ***** to find, but worth every single cent.

Trying to find Pokemon Yellow/Blue/Red non-online is just as hard.

I have looked for it in every used game store I have come across since the PS1 was a current console, but I have yet to walk out with a copy of Bust-A-Groove. I refuse to spend the $100-ish it goes for on Ebay.

Lunar:Silver Story Complete CE on the Playstation 2. After a year of going to various game stores I found it in Richmond VA. I jumped on the copy like a hungry wolf jumps on a T-Bone.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee,I've been a big fan of the Oddworld series since the first one, Abe's Oddysee, and this game was a nightmare to find, in the end i had to get a Pre-owned copy, but it was worth it

I've Mentioned this before many times. But Shadow of the Collosus was this for me. After spending forever trying to find one, I give up. Finding absolutely no hint of a copy anywhere. A few months later, I head to some Gamestore at a shopping centre too far away to get to regularly to pick up another game I had ordered. I find SotC it in a display case. God it was a good feeling when I saw it there. Perfect quality box too.

2nd place is a working copy of MGS3. Managed to find a beat-up case with a good disc, as well as God of War 1 & 2 in a box at a electronics store. Unfortunately it was the fixed camera verison. But I'll take what I can get.
yeah I tried to find one to....keep looking I guess

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain for the PS1/PC.
took 5-6 years to find, found it on ebay a few times but the price went into triple digits often. Then i found it in a local video game shop (Ninja games) for £4, i couldn't wipe the smile off my face when i hand the money to cashier knowing he was getting ripped off.

Now i have the full legacy of kain series for PS1 and PS2.

Barring visual novels, probably an original and boxed CD-ROM copy of Might & Magic: World of Xeen I bought two years ago. Also happened upon a used copy of ICO in a Gamestop some 5 years ago, though I weren't really looking for it.

Never knew the older Pokemon games had become hard to find, I have Red, Yellow, and Gold for Gameboy Color back from my childhood. Now if only I could remember where I stashed the damn thing.

The NES Version. I have the GBC version, but it just doesn't compare to the original 8 bit...

Also...

Again, the NES Version...
