Im on that inect boss now. Jesus did the devs even play the damn games?-Seraph- said:Oh don't worry, you get restorative items later, and just wait till you get to some of the later bosses. That fucking Bird on top of the Wind Precinct, The Earth Dragon, and Second Form of the Moon Dragon are total assholes. Ys7 from what I've managed to gather is arguably the EASIEST in the series and I can see why.IamSofaKingRaw said:Ys Seven on Nightmare. You take off like 7 hit points on bosses that have about 5000 HP. Oh and you only have about 120 Hp and they take off around 30 HP each hit. Add to that you have essentially NOTHING (no potions or revival potions) at the beginning of that game and you are required to have long ass boss fights and not get hit at all.
It took a lot out of me beating the FIRST boss.
You should try Ys3: Oath In Felghana, it's supposedly the hardest in the series and boy does it show. You just have Adol the whole time, and you don't get restorative items during boss battles. The final boss on nightmare is well....a nightmare. The other bosses will kick your ass rather thoroughly as well.
Can't wait for 1&2 chronicles to give me an ass whooping![]()
Oh the big bug inside the tree? Yea the first time you fight him is annoying. It's a long battle, you gotta take out his legs before you can do actual damage. Try to practice flash guarding, it makes boss attacks and enemies more manageable. Stupidly enough, the in game tutorial does not tell you about flash guard but the manual does. You gotta tap L+R together but the best way of doing it is to hold R and tap L when you wanna block, saves you from accidentally using your limit break (why they didn't make THAT L+R is beyond me).IamSofaKingRaw said:Im on that inect boss now. Yeah lol I searched the internet to find out how to guard because I couldn't beat the twin headed turtle for the longest time. The only reason why I die for this boss is because of those bugs he makes fall from the ceiling that inflict flame on you while you fight him.-Seraph- said:Oh the big bug inside the tree? For those long continuous attacks rapidly tapping L while holding R is a god send. It will make bosses a lot less annoying and is vital if you really wanna beat the game.
O_O I just got that game. Thank you for telling me what difficulty level I should SKIP.IamSofaKingRaw said:Ys Seven on Nightmare. You take off like 7 hit points on bosses that have about 5000 HP. Aw you wimp, take your beatings like a man ^_^ It's not that challenging on any other the other difficulty levels....well maybe Hard mode is challenging but the rest are cake walks. It's mainly the bosses that are a pain, the normal enemies tend to be alright regardless of difficulty.BelmontClan said:O_O I just got that game. XD Well, I play games just to play them, not usually to beat them on some ridiculous setting. Unless I really like the game, then I might try it just to see what it's about, or it's some unusual but possible trick, like beating FF6 with only Setzer, Edgar and Celes.-Seraph- said:Aw you wimp, take your beatings like a man ^_^ It's not that challenging on any other the other difficulty levels....well maybe Hard mode is challenging but the rest are cake walks.
