Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. I'd gotten the first two shortly after getting a GBSP, because they were in a bargain bin and looked more interesting than Crash Bandicoot for the GBA. Then, I found that they were quite enjoyable, and looked forward to the next installment for the next however long, even disregarding the several years and new-system snags, just to see what would happen next. I have to say, even though they threw out my favorite characters in favor of a new team, and despite the ridiculously long tutorial bits, I actually enjoyed GS:DD. I just wonder what they'll do with this most recent cliffhanger.

Hmm. The last one I can think of that did that was...Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos (2002).
I couldn't wait to get back from vacation in the sticks to play it some more.

I'm not quite sure. I guess the closest I've felt that way recently was last year when Mass Effect 2 got released. I'm anticipating it happening again for Mass Effect 3 too. :)

Dragon Age 2.

I was not disappointed due to the fact that I wanted it to be good so much that it could have come with a mandatory suppository and I'd still have loved it.

Skyrim... I just downloaded the trailer...

I like the new arrangement on the classical theme song.

The last one that did this isn't even out yet.

Deus Ex is going to be so, so sweet.
Yeap, same here. The leaked preview version only made it worse. Gods that game is going to be sweeeeeeet.

Before that, L.A. Noir, and before that Mass Effect 2 I think. Star Wars: The Old Republic comes pretty close as well.
