To experience life of course.

Either that, or that we have been put on this earth to drain the oil reserves of the planet as one draws pus from a wounded individual. Oil is toxic goo and it's humanities purpose to burn it all off.

As a muslim, the meaning of life for us is, live a good life. And then you get to go to heaven.

Simple as that.
I think that's it for most religions, pity more people don't follow it.
Of ocurse it's never that simple, shit gets in the way :|

to quote the doctor; "life is just natures way of keeping meat fresh." life has no meaning, it just is.

To have fun, as long as you don't harm others
And to quote Dr. Kelso
"Get as much tail as you can"

Which doctor said that?
for the life of me, I honestly can't remember. It was either Matt Smith or David Tennant.

there is no meaning of life. we are here because we were born from minerals by sheer dumb luck and so far we've managed to fuck up the world so much more than we needed to. not only is there no meaning of why we are here, but even if there is an advanced race of aliens that know of our existence , they would know one of two things: "if we go there we do not know how they will react towards us" or "we should just leave them alone" this is logical and anyone who doubts this should really give more thought.

the meaning of life is Easy

ready all

"its to Live your life"

now let me Explain it a little,

ok, i have seen and met 100s of people some are lost don't know what to do and all that. but if and i say if you have a after life, all the knowledge you gain will stay with you. all you enjoy all you hate all the people you loved. the more you live the more experiences you gain making yourself a better more understanding person. now if there is no afterlife at lest you can turn around when your really old and say "I have lived my life" so there you have it, easy :D now get out and live darn you all

Edit: now is there a meaning to life is a new born dies, yes there is it changed you all the people around you made you do things differently for 8-9 month, put you throw pain hardship it was to make you grow a little bit more make you a little harder or weaker. it effected not just 1 person the person that died but all the people who life it touched,

"life brings life to life" lol can't think for the life of me where i got that quote from

Ya know it's funny. Ever since i've known the escapist, threads like these always show up in a month or so. It's probably the easiest way to get a popular thread and it's assciated badges without really having to come up with something new and different to ask. It's right up there with threads "is love real?" And "does god exist?" All I'm saying is you could just use the search bar we really do have quite a few threads like this already in existence.

For me the meaning of life is to share it with those around you, to make a lasting impression in their lives (preferably in a nice way).

Yeah, I'm not really philosophical person...
