What about the fat man from eve? When I played that I always imagined giggling like Peter Griffin as I flew through space. It was pretty cool and made me smile.

I stopped playing though, becuase I didn't really get it.
Ah, the Tristan. The Little Gallente Frigate that Could.

Also available with gold highlights and invisibility.

Well, kinda. Technically, that's a Nemesis stealth bomber, but it uses the Tristan hull, so meh.

what games is that from?
Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. A surprisingly good space RTS that actually made you feel like you were in command of your ship.

OT: Any ship in GalCiv 2. Ship designing is awesome.

The Y-Wing from Star Wars.

I really like its exposed machinery and worn appearance. You can tell at a glance that these ships have seen lots of action, much like how front-line fighter planes in World War II would collect their share of dirt, grime, battle scars and chipped paint. When you're fighting a war, aesthetics rank pretty low on the list of priorities

In spite of their rather ungainly appearance however, they're still reliable workhorses for the Rebel Alliance.

Ah, I love the Y-Wing too. Fun fact: the Y-Wing was originally completely sheathed in a body shell, but engineers got tired of removing it:

Another of my favorites is the TIE Interceptor. Sleek, fast and deadly.:

Yep, in fact they even show Y-Wings when they were still "brand new" in the Clone Wars show:

Doesn't look like your source, but I was happy that they at least referenced that tibidt of info (unlike the main prequel films, which gleefully ignore the series' continuity). Unfortunately the show as a whole was too hit-or-miss for my tastes.

My all time favorite is the Ragnarok from FF8

But Samus' ship in MP3 looks awesome too. Though kind of plot-hole-y

And for bonus points, The Executioner.

The shadow vessels, they look like giant spiders, with too many legs, that you can't see until it is right in your face.
I'm a little surprised nobody said Talon from Farscape yet. It's a paranoid living gunship.

I think the original ones look better. Like blocks of metal put together with guns regardless of aerodynamics.

To be different, any of the Mobile Suit Gundam ships. My preference goes to White Base or the Argama.
