So? Accoring to wiki, "the" stems from Old English "se".Also, "the" is only in English, why does everyone always assume that words have to be verbs or nouns?
Where did this language get it from? I don't know. Does that mean it was an invention? Or did it perhaps stem from the French word "le"?
The online sources I could find on the spot aren't that extensive and even if I found a source for "se", going back further and further would make it more difficult to find any more info.
And honestly, I don't care enough.
