Me and a friend of mine were returning from uni one afternoon in which we stumbled a rather odd fellow who felt the urge to recount the tale of how he lost his ouji board at the cemetary two nights prior. Another fun little incident was watching a pair of heroin addicts tearing a whole train cabin appart looking for short change going on about how they'd "kill for just one more shot". Then there was the fellow who wore a towel around his shoulders screaming that he was spiderman. I find the longer the train ride the wierder they get.

Not much really... though I've gotten my fair share of weird looks, be it because an ex leaning on my shoulder while she was wearing a metal face-mask, or me with bloody knuckles...

... though not simultaneously, I hasten to add.

What did the metal face mask look like exactly? And is it weird that i'd love to have a girlfriend like that?

The weirdest thing I suppose was when this (little bit) over-weight man (40s I'd say) fell asleep on my shoulder, I didn't mind really cause I'm sure he probably had a long day and I figured I'd let him sleep.

On the train coming home from Birmingham and this guy was getting questioned by the conductor about his ticket. After dodging for a bit the guy eventually pulls out a crumpled ticket and hands it over, but the conductor explains that it's out of date and he'll need to buy a new one. The guy just stares straight ahead of him for a full 5 minutes and conductor looks perplexed, but then goes off to open the doors at the next station. When he comes back the guy starts to get aggressive, and the conductor points out that we won't be leaving this station until he pays for a ticket. On that bombshell the people in the carriage start muttering, and a man sat across the way from me gets up, walks over to the ticketless guy, literally picks him up, carries him over to the door, places him gently but firmly onto the platform and closes the doors.

You could feel the silence in the carriage change from 'Oh my god there's going to be a fight' to 'what's he doing' to 'This man is our God' in the space of 3 seconds.

Someone tried to steal a 59fifty hat I just bought rite off my head and when I confronted him because the door didn't open as fast as he wanted it to he put me in a headlock and started pounding my head with one of those clear plastic water bottles... It was hilarious. Oh and I got my hat back.

She had a couple and wore them for medical reasons... anyway, thanks to a macabre sense of humour that we share, the coolest one is zombie (plus eye) on one side and featureless (though obviously female/human) on the other. I won't say how much it cost to get it made... -_-

A friend of mine once saw a man in a devil one-piece pajama suit, carrying a briefcase full of rubber ducks while playing a piano xylophone.

And he wasn't bullshitting, he took a picture!

Hmm, there was the guy playing the violin and at each stop he got off and changed cars.

There was also the guy that put up some black material between two poles and proceeded to do a puppet show.

Those were the awesome experiences though, there was the time a bunch of really drunk guys tried hitting on me so I pretended I didn't speak English and they spent the rest of the trip trying to teach me English which was rather hilarious.

On a bus in London there was a crazy guy who not only sang the songs from Oliver aloud but also recited the spoken lines. Being England, not a single person dared look him in the eye or acknowledge his presence, let alone make fun of him or ask him to shut up, so we had the pleasure of his dulcet tones for the duration of our journey. And - for the life of me I couldn't say whether it was just coincidence or if he had somehow timed the journey - but he managed to finish Consider Yourself just as we reached our destination, making the next line of "Right, that's enough, back to work everybody!" oddly fitting.

Nutter.

Well, not sure I'd class it as 'interesting', but I was travelling on the metro once, and there was this annoying brat running amok and generally being loud and obnoxious, while his chavvy mother just sat there not doing anything about him. After about 15 minutes of this, and everyone in the carriage clearly pissed off about this, some woman who was getting off at the next stop started giving this eight year old the third degree. He then called her a stupid old ****, and his mother said 'yeah, thats right, you tell her.'

Now, I'm not a fan of kids, it has to be said, but I don't think there has ever been any other time in my life when I have wanted to so thoroughly eviscerate one of the little bastards.

Also, our society sucks. I blame the parents.

Captcha: Weasel Words. Not sure that quite covers it...
