I put a metal bowl in my microwave, started it and THEN read the warning notice telling you not to put metal objects in the microwave. So I started swearing and of course we had friends round with their 2 year old son. He tore off shouting s*** and I was left standing there thinking......... Bugger. In the end I broke the microwave (It was only 2 months old).

Anyway what's the most stupid thing you've ever done, I'll be looking for the worst.

When I was a toddler, I jumped up and down on a chair, fell off of it and broke my collarbone.

I tied a teddy bear to a light before I went out with my parents and forgot to turn the light off. If we'd have been about half an hour longer I would have burnt the house down but my mum found it just as it had burnt leg (The part I tied it to the light with)

Can't really think of anything, but I can say that this weekend I locked my keys in my car. I felt pretty damn stupid for doing that.

Listened to Sega saying Sonic Unleashed would be good

Or jumping off a one and half story building, that was a dumb idea.

Jumping down the stairs in our house as a 6 year old-like properly almost the entire flight, a good 7/8ft drop
Cycling with headphones on-thankfully I only crashed into another cyclist, but I ended up buckling their front wheel which I had to pay about £30 for, and scraped up the entire of my right arms, wrist to shoulder
Scaling and walking along a 10ft wall, while drunk, in winter, with ice covering the entire top, very surprised I didn't fall

I once ate a piece of broken glass thinking it was weed

...feel free to ask me for the whole story, but really I think that's all that needs to be said

When I was in kindergarten I decided to remove all the pillows from a sofa and placed them on the floor. Then I jumped from the sofa onto the pillows bellow first. I hit the pillow with my body but my head smashed into the floor and both of my front tooth went of(dont know how to say this with good english) across the room. I can still remember going around looking for them so that I could get the money from the tooth fairy (after crying of course)...

Now when I have written this I can think of much more stupid things I have done but I think this will suffice...

EDIT: Also I once cycled into a lamppost at slow speed...

Once when I was very angry I kicked a random bag with all the power I could muster.
Little did I know there were two bowling balls inside it...

I guess the stupidest thing I've ever done is to, when I was about 10-11, right after having moved and changed schools, decided I could do without friends and I'm still hard at work on undoing that fucking "dick move".

But that's pretty boring as far as entertainment value goes, so lets recount this friend of mine's stupidest thing ever, which happened this winter.

So He (lets call him Mark), I and another guy (who we'll call Matt) worked (I still do, but you'll see soon enough why they don't) at a restaurant that does delivery. Now we were done closing up, with only administrative/accounting stuff left to do. We left all that to our "boss" who's barely older than we are and not real boss of the place, but enough to be left in charge to close shop. At this point, Matt goes outside and tells me to come along and that "it'll be fun". We both get in one of the restaurant's delivery cars, a 2007 Smart Fortwo, while Mark comes outside as well and gets in a second delivery car, this one a Toyota Yaris of the same year. Now is the time to point out that none of us had valid driving permits, that the Yaris had (yes, had) a manual gearbox and inexperienced driver Mark has trouble driving manual... oh and there was a nice blanket of about 2 inches of fresh snow everywhere. Still, that's not too bad considering our restaurant was basically at the far end of a big succession of parking lots and this was a Sunday around midnight. So we drive around the parking lots, drifting in the snow at times and basically practicing these guys' driving. Then comes the really stupid decision... the word "race" is uttered and marks the beginning of the end. So both cars drive to the other end of the parking lots and positions themselves for this little race. The main cause of the imminent crowning of Mark's stupidity is already apparent: he stalls the engine about six times just to get in position because he doesn't drive manual. But he manages and both cars start. I was in the passenger seat on the side of the car we were racing so I had a good view of Mark; as we were accelerating, I could see him struggling with the gearbox and having to look at it to shift gears... So when we came to a slight downward slope and left curve right in front of a grocery store with a van parked in front, Matt slowed down and Mark just flew past us, braked way too late and skid right in the side of the van at least at 50 kph. The back end lifted from the ground and landed a couple meters farther. The front end was completely smashed, right wheel bent out of shape, airbag had fortunately come out and the horn was jammed in alerting the guys in the grocery to the crash. Insurance company declared the car a total loss, Matt lost his job for driving after hours and Mark was lucky as hell not to have to pay any damages to the car; he was just fined 300$ by the police and lost his temporary permit for a year and destroyed his plans of joining the fire dept.
And that kids is why you must think...with your BRAINS!!!111!! :p

The most stupid thing...we were using some plastic bags(big ones) instead of sleighs (we were poor and dumb ok?) and I decided to try enterin the bag. Obviosly I slipped and broke my colar bone cuz i fell on pease of ice. The next 3 days were pura agony. Fun times. :D

I played frisbee in a field with my friend Jason. He was on a quadbike and I was in a car. I was hanging out of the window trying to catch the frisbee and he was speeding around almost flying off trying to reach out to grab it

It was so retarded

I also drove the car around later on with handbrake still on. I was tearing around the field, wondering why I couldn't get into 3rd gear.

We ruined that poor farmers field D= But it was so much fun XD

EDIT: Oh yeah and I also jumped off a roof with a load of boys onto a trampoline. It ended suprisingly well! Only one person got injured =D

Intentionally spun a Cessna 172 out of the envelope. In other words, we had our weight all bugged up and put more stress on the airframe than it's supposed to carry (G's).

Looking back. Horrible idea.

Clicked on this thread, thinking it would be interesting.

Actually, it was when I pulled an all-nighter playing Bloons Sunday night. The next day was the worst in my life...
