Well there are far too many I could name really eg Black Bible, Urotsukidoji just go onto wiki and type in ecchi if want a comprehensive list.. Also just because Japan does it with cartoons does mean that the West does not have equally fucked up and wierd things we just rather see actual people do it. Just see a Serbian film which I vow never to see nor do I recommend it. There is also a horror movie where a woman gives herself a clitorectomy.

Was that last one Antichrist by anychance? Yeah that was a messed up film but you have to give it credit. Its aim was to be psychologically disturbing and it manages it throughout the film.

Also literature is the really scary place if you know where to look. American Psycho, The Cement Garden and The Wasp Factory are all excellent books but really messed up and I know full well that in comparison to some stuff out there they're relatively tame.

Perviest anime I've seen though is either High School of the Dead or Needless. Both OK series ruined by the obsession with panty shots and massive boobs. Actual hentai though I'd suggest just sticking that into google images will give all the evidence needed.

Elfen Lied, why because it trys to pretend its this serious drama while giving people a sense of deepness too it.

Case and point first episode

Im not even going to attack the first seen with the naked murder going on.

You get naked mew on the beach, why mew? because thats the sound she makes, also its the sound a cat is supposed to make in japan *Mew = Meow, its an onomatopoeia type word* why does mental retardation do this to her I don't know. The writer thought to himself "hmm how can I pass this character off as innocent" and within one minute of getting clothes and getting off the beach, she looks down out her shirt curiously showing us a tit. It tries to hide its perversion and that to me makes it more perverted.

Ah, I knew someone would bring this up, but oddly enough: if you watch past the first episode (a feat I didn't manage first time round) it all makes sense, and it's actually more saddening than anything else.

It doesn't need that amount of just quite frankly out of place sexuality in it, but it's not really a major part of the story as a whole, it's more something that lasts as token nudity for a few seconds, or even something you just end up ignoring.

A pervy bear and a girl who turns into a cat qualifies it? Like hell. There were a few "hurr boobs" moments but Bleach is goddamn innocent compared to other stuff.

I'd like to disqualify Gantz since it's extreme in everything it does and actually has a story that isnt purely a backdrop for breasts... but then I remember a scene where a man has sex with a gollum made of naked ladies, before it crushes him to death.

Oh Gantz, you terrify me with your hyper-gore and extremely nihilistic themes and yet you are strangely entertaining.

Hmm, ninja'd. I always thought this was as close anime can get to hentai without being hentai.

Not only that but it's hyper violent.....and it has really good production values. Jesus Christ, th-th-the first scene of the first episode.........I need to import the blu-ray.

You know I just realized reading this thread what I hate about anime nowadays. It focuses on the absolute worst of people and society. Everybody's insane, everybody's a pervert, everybody's a rapist, everybody's psychotic, you will be betrayed, you're sister WILL be raped by someone, you're ninja town will be destroyed by some lame psychopath with crap in his face. No, anime, everybody isn't like this. They are just a very very small part of this world and focusing squarely on these elements is weak and uninspired.

If you include Hentai there are so many I could name, the worst I can remember though I can't remember the name of, I blocked it from my memory but the mental images don't go away.

Black Bible always gets named (It's a porno though).

I went to visit a couple I'm friends with once. Usually, we'd all watch a movie. Anyway, they knew I liked anime and proceeded to put an anime DVD on. It was Legend of the Overfiend. They would not turn it off. I haven't visited them since, I make them come to me.

And yet Still only consider it an upper middle in terms of depravity, that was a pretty cruel joke though, it didn't hurt your like of Anime I trust?
