anytime someone says they like pokemon or star fox, i die a little inside. that and when people say that they think navi was the most annoying thing ever. i didnt really think that, and you have to admit there are a lot of helper characters who were worse. and people who think that halo is so great that it must be made of the very fabric from which the material of the universe is cut. and people who say that there is a way to get digimon in one of the pokemon games.

Your first point confuses me...If you're talking about the NEW Pokemon, I can understand...But the old Red/BLue, and even the FIRST SEASON OF THE ANIME, got me into Anime, and was good before they decided to milk it till it was dry. As for Star Fox...My inner Falco fanboy is dying to tell you off, but I'm willing to hear your reasons as to why you dislike Star Fox.

As for the Navi point, I believe that it is a tie between her, and Slippy Toad from the Star Fox franchise, for the award of 'Most annoying support character of life'. My reasons are that Navi screams her head off for you to listen to her, practically every five minutes...and that Slippy STILL, after three to four games, demands that you get a guy off his back.

Other then that, I agree with you on Halo's popularity and the idiot who said that it is possible to get Digimon in one of the Pokemon Games.

As for the OP, I'd say the guy who says that the 2D Sonics are better then the 3D...and whom says that Zelda: OOT is the best Zelda game ever made.

You play a game designed by the Japanese to funnel money from parents.

Take out the parents part and you're spot on. Especially since that's the purpose of pretty much all games, just replace Japan with the country in which it was designed and you can apply that sentence to every non-freeware game ever created.

Now I personally have no idea what games you enjoy, but if you (or your mummy and daddy) pay money for them and you sincerely think that profit isn't the primary reason for that game's existance, then you're more ignorant than I had first thought.

This isn't really gaming as much, but the when I bought an Intel Core 2 he said Intel fails AMD is much better. I laughed and said he was a douche. He also said Gigabyte fails.

They are basically the same. Its just that Intel is better for multiple processes and AMD generates more heat.

Haha, seeing that cheat on a website affected me for life. I just used to do it out of superstition more than anything.

I can't really think of any examples at the minute, although there was this one kid who was adamant that Nintendo was an Australian company, and Sony started off making golf carts.

At my gamestop we often have people asking if things like god of war, zelda, mario, and Gears are going to be put on their particular system.

We also had a woman threaten to toss a PS3 through our front door because it ate her game, we flick it on and hit the eject button, nothing pops out, we feed it another game, it takes it, we look in the game box that she brought along, it's there...

She ended up bringing us cookies.

Also had a kid ask how he could get "sponsored" to play videogames.

No it's true the cell prccesor is a million billion times more powerful than the largest supercomputer ever dreamed up evar. The fact that the PS3 can't even match the 360 in terms of graphical performance is a massive conspiracy to keep the masses from understanding something or other./Sarcasm

P.S. I don't really have a problem with the PS3 but the way people keep saying "this year (insert every year since the release date here) is going to be the year it takes over " gets a bit tiresome after a while.
