'Did I just kill him?'- said by my sister after cracking a thug's head open with a baseball bat in Manhunt (PS2).
Girls are silly. My friend's wife pulled over when the cops started chasing her in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2.
I actually facepalmed.

"Halo is the greatest game ever made."

Guess he forgot about the rest of the greatest games ever made. Like Serious Sam for example or Carmageddon or Populous.
Agreed, Halo was just ONE of the best games, before Halo 3 I mean.
Yeah Halo was good. I didn't care much for both Halo 2 'n 3. I guess you could say that nothing beats an original. Oh let's not forget MGS or Silent Hill 3. Well the first 3 in Silent was great.

Strippers being the opportune word. If they expected every woman on the street to strip for them, then yes, they'd be sexist, but paying for a stripper is as sexist as buying a cheeseburger from a woman; you're paying for what they're servicing, which they have chosen to sevice. It isn't really sexist.
I agree with you that stripping isn't a sexist profession, but it's hard to make a case for the GAME not being sexist when strippers, prostitutes, and submissive pedestrians who all run away if you punch them constitute the vast majority of women in the game. Of course, I could point out to her that GTA IV is satirical in that respect, but it's hard to say if she would buy it considering how realistic the game is, on the surface, trying to be.

"I can't play any games that I can't play online"

The kid also listens to mainstream rap, so apparently he is happy with everything having the depth of a wading pool.

Not knocking online play of course, just making a point.

<_< I used to think that, lol. To be fair, it was before I had my Xbox.

I have nothing else to contribute. I... don't hang out with morons?

Super Smash bros. is a deep, and complex game.
I had that agruement with some random dude....He was hyped for SSBB and i said why do you want a little button masher like that when you could have a deep complex fighter(I.E virtua fighter 5)and he goes Fuck You SSBB is most complex fighter EVER!
With all fairness considered Super smash Bros is still great fun, not sure about melee and brawl though.

I was talking about games with a co worker who was trying to impress the gamer girl with his opinion two things he said jumped out at me "I got Fallout 3 but it was really short so im returning it" and "ya i got the Orange Box" so i proceeded to quote Portal like you know we all do when you find someone who played it and he didn't know what i was talking about, so i asked him if he played Portal and he said "Na i heard it was stupid".

That only happens if the player chooses to do it. I'm glad we're on the same page, but explaining the reliance on the player's choice as to whether they actually do that kind of stuff ought to demolish her argument.

A girl at University said "video games damage your eyes", so I found her a study which claims that video games are not nearly as damaging to your eyes as television, and can actually improve your reflexes and co-ordination.

Working at Best Buy

"I came in and bought this wireless mouse and keyboard earlier and it won't work with my computer!"
Me "What do you mean by 'It wont work'?"
"It just doesn't, I put in the batteries, and turned it on, and nothing happens. Either you sold me bad batteries or a bad keyboard!"
Me "Did you plug the receiver in?"
"The what?"
Me (Getting angry now) "It's the little black thing, with the pretty lights on it, you plug it into the usb ports."
"No, this is wireless it doesn't work like that! Can I get a manager, or an employee that knows what he's talking about?"

I just stormed off in a blind fury, got the manager and went on break...

Humanity, I hate you!

This guy actually had a 360, so he didn't really have an excuse.
