Then of course the small mushroom people's older brothers come a-lumberin' along and completely wreck you...MeChaNiZ3D said:Funniest have got to be either the small mushroom people or Mimics in Dark Souls. Small mushroom people because they're pathetic and fall over half the time they try to hit you, and Mimics because they look alot like treasure chests and EVERYONE gets eaten first time around. But furthermore, if you throw a Lloyd's Talisman at it, it goes to sleep and you can take the item it was holding. Best of all, it has a chance to drop the Symbol of Avarice, often seen partying hard in combination with the Channeler's Trident.
Dark souls. He's called Gaping Dragon, he's the boss in the Depths.Shoggoth2588 said:what game is this from...? Is this what I'm missing out on by not playing Dark Souls...? I have to fight this thing!

What game is that? It looks like a Goldbox game running on an early 90's Mac, but as far as I know they were all late 80's/very early 90's DOS games. Were there mac versions of some of them?Denamic said:Fuck the floor, jesus. I hated that shit.Innegativeion said:Indeed, and it only gets more frightening from there. I vote for the humble rat, giant or otherwise. Why would rats attack you? Rats aren't aggressive. In fact, they're pretty damn social.
I believe it's Ultima 3.Owyn_Merrilin said:What game is that? It looks like a Goldbox game running on an early 90's Mac, but as far as I know they were all late 80's/very early 90's DOS games. OT: Goombas. Seriously, they're a walking mushroom with eyes that damages you on contact. The more you think about it, the weirder it is.
Edit: And then I realize the person above me beat me to it by almost 20 minutes.
Ah, that would make sense. Similar vintage, same genre, different game and engine.Sir Pootis said:I believe it's Ultima 3.Owyn_Merrilin said:What game is that? You pretty much said it....I was more surprised that I got an achievement for it, too....bartholen said:If your answer to "funniest" is anything other than this, you're wrong
As for most unusual.... well FFX had some incredibly outlandish monster designs. One in particular, I remember, resembled a floating upside down Easter Islands statue with a bunch of rocks floating around it, best I can describe it.
