Led Zeppelin, everyone should know when they formed. Im 14 and I love to listen to them, especially Jimmy's solos on his 59' Les Paul
He's a sloppy ass lead player, or rather he was. I suppose he might have gotten better.
He wasnt sloppy, all his notes flow into each other like a river of mercury

Title says it all.

The oldest band i listen to is Simon & Garfunkel.Formed in 1957.Now that's rather old.

So now i ask you. What is the oldest band/artist that you listen to?
Simon and Garfunkel is not only the oldest, but to me, it's the best group I've ever heard. Bridge Over Troubled Water is a fucking masterpiece!

I certainly don't mean to imply he was a poor player at all. But he's much more a rhythm player.

Iron Maiden \m/.

Their albums released this decade are freaking awesome, I actually listen to them more than their old stuff nowadays.
