Pacman/Joust/Centipede/Galaga/something like that, on old arcade cabinets in Frontier restaurant when I was a kiddo. Robotron was the best one, but I think it was probably a year or two newer than the others.. I don't wanna look up the dates right now.

I am guilty of playing oldschool Pong...yes, one of my friends has an original home pong system and has a designated TV for it.

Asteroids was more likely the first game ever. Or their was that matchstick game, which was more of a logic puzzle.

Ooooh, let's see here...

Earliest gaming memory was playing Little Big Adventure 2 (released 1997) when I was 4...

But later on I remember playing Hocus Pocus (1994) and Duke Nukem 2 (1993)...

Then I somehow got my hands on a freeware disk containing games like Omega(Late 80s)

I think, though, that the oldest I've ever managed to get my hands on is the original "Rogue", published in 1980, the one game that almost every RPG that exists today has as its great great gandmother...

And it sucked...

Omega did it better.

I guess the oldest games I ever played were Tetris and Super Mario Land on the old Game-Boy Classic. (They were both released at about the same time in the PAl regions. September 28, 1990 if Wikipedia is to be believed.)

Incidentally, those were also the first games I ever played.

Well over a decade later, and it's still going very much strong. Although I have become way, WAY more jaded than when I was... Damn, I forget what age I was back then. 5 or 6, maybe?

Although far more recently, I acquainted myself with the original Dooms.
