Adventure.
The 1977 text adventure. (Also released later on as Colossal Cave Adventure)
Woo! First computer game ever!
...But if you don't mean of the text adventure variety, I'm thinking Tetris and Gauntlet.
Yeah, Tetris can be just a little bit hypnotizing really late at night...
But nothing beats white writing on a little blue screen.
Pong an ancient atari console (bought at a jumble sale in the late 70s ) and then "Galaxians" on my first actual computer a ZX81 (more of a calculator crossed with a doorstop) I saved up for from my paper round
Id say chess *rolls eyes*
But yeah, from video games, must have been some pac man or space invaders back on arcades. It was so long ago i dont really remember.
The Odyssey and of course pong back on its original box i even remember some of the odyssey games like it had a hangman game on it. I am ageing myself so much here.
