What is the Origin of your Username or Avatar?

probably pretty easy to guess i'd say

first took a name from a tv show that was a bit offensive all told... but hey i was young and stupid and it was fun to troll with

had another account for "official" stuff with my real name on it

this one came about because i wanted a more anonymous one that wouldn't piss people off just by its very name (though of course there is the spelling). a couple people have assumed it's egyptian or something to do with a particular porn(? music?) star (who came along quite a bit later).
Nah. I may have initially cut my teeth on a Spectrum, but it's the ST that brought me up, computer-wise. We hadn't long retired the beloved old carthorse in favour of a bright and shiny PC future (and all the internet stuff that it entailed) when I came up with it. So, there you go.

It's probably about as geeky a username as I could come up with without throwing in some kind of linux reference, but I hope to be forgiven that as linux wasn't really any kind of big deal at the time. plus it looks more organic and a touch unisex.

annoyingly I finally HAD to sign up to youtube for testing reasons and found it was already taken. since 2007. by an egyptian feller who favourited ONE crappy 1950s bellydancer video and then seemingly quit. didn't even put up interesting videos of the protests or anything. so i had to get a different one for there :-/

I picked mine when i had to name my very first char, a barbarian, in Diablo II. I thought about what other games i liked, which at that time was Diablo, and took it from a minor character with a really cool name. Sir Gorash.

Lost the Sir and have used it ever since.

I shamelessly robbed mine from a friend whilst we were at a LAN party. DrStupid just epitomised everything I loved. Inexplicable stupidity, my sense of humour and that sense that a name like that lulls people into a false sense of security when I fight them online. And you know, it actually works. Someone asked me why I had this name in Black Ops and I managed to kill them twice in the process.

Avatar: I like Starcraft and the Ultralisk is one of my favorite units. Useless most of the time, but pretty awesome.

One faithful band practice i was dubbed Leeroy Las Vegas due to my love for rockabilly clothing, it kinda stuck. SuperVegas is obviously a variation of that.

My name was a spin on a name from the film Willow which I thought was cool. I have used it for so long now it is like my online self. I have had quite a few role play characters called Elorwin and most of my online accounts have that as a username. If you type it into google you get some of my pictures and art work.

My avatar is normally Lady Almathea from the last Unicorn as I love that film. ^x^

My username comes from a mixture between Metallica and Middle Earth lore, it's the name of a constellation in that universe which is analog to Orion, Orion is the name of one of metallica's best song, it an awesome instrumental piece. This is also how I name my melee/warrior chars in RPGs.

My avatar refers to Cthulhu, from the H.P. Lovecraft books, I like it, it's quite simple.

Name is from a character on some humor website I used to frequent a long time ago called "Rathergood.com" or somesuch. Thought "Food" was a funny name, so I alternated from capital to lowercase letters to make it look goofy, then added my favorite number to the end - Twice.

Avatar is my LIVE gamerpic, which is my avatar dressed as an astronaut, doing a cool pose, in SPACE. I'm very proud of it.
