We call black people either "Negro" or "Black". No one finds issue with this.

But mostly we refer to all humans by nationality.

In Britain we just call them black people. If we ever need to.

My mother's black, I remember once someone apologised for saying that he wondered which one of my parents was. As if that would insult me
Lol, I'm not black (Sorry, sorry, so sorry) but I hate it when people I'm with do that to black people. I don't get it at all.

same here. White people are the only people you hear called by their color anymore. Next time someone calls me white I'm suing. My ancestory on one side of my family goes back to being Egyptian jewish. On the other side my ancestory is from Europe (I'm white by the way). I hereby demand to be called the politically correct term, an Egyption European American/rant
Seriosuly if the politically correct term is something like African American or chinese American just remove the first word. Examples: African American= American
chinese American= American
and so forth

political correctness annoys the hell out of me. Scottish people get called scots, not Caledonians, why do pakis have to be called pakistanis? I call black people black, btw, and noone takes offense.

Well, if for some reason it's necessary for me to mention the heritage of a person I'm speaking of, I usually call them "a person of another ethnic origin than pale"...

Either that, or I use comical racial slurs because moronic things like that can be fun, as long as the person spoken of sees it as fun too.
My one-time neighbour, I regularily went drinking with him and his mates, they were all Kosovo-Albanians, which they were somewhat proud of. I usually called them Kosovo-Indians since indian and albanian rhymes in my native tongue and there was a joke involved about them all being from different "tribes" in Kosovo-Albania

Like so many people most likely have said, that phrase applies again... What is it? Oh, right... "Only in America."

I'd say first off, what does it matter? If you really need to point out the colour of someone's skin (like saying "it's that black guy over there"), then use the colour of the skin. You call white people white, even in America, right? So why isn't that racist then?

That's not true, the politically correct term is Afro-Caribbean
I'd be tempted to disagree here, since nowhere official is this true. Ie - look on a job application.

In any case, it's not right logically. It doesn't cover Indians, for one thing. I'm a mix of three different kinds of black, plus whatever white blood has been mixed into the line on my father's side. The only sensible way to characterise me is as a white British/Black mix
Actually, you're right about that, having looked into it more, the proper term is 'Black British' apparently, although I've never heard that used.

I believe that Indians are covered by British Asian, and you would be described as 'bi-racial' or 'multi-racial'

Oh I don't know, possibly because 'Paki' is used as a racial slur and 'Scot' isn't?
