What is the scariest game of all time?

Penumbra did a pretty damn good job of making me unnerved and paranoid, but I just put Fatal Frame on my "to play" list so, we'll see how that holds up.

Either System Shock 2, or Thief Deadly Shadows because of the Cradle mission. Eternal Darkness was quite scary too.

The PS1 game Nightmare Creatures scared me sh*tless, even just the music scared me.

Of all the horror games I've played, Penumbra.

Penumbra was indeed a scary sensation.

I'm not sure I would go so far to crown it the most frightening, but it sure is nice.

Just git done playing the demo. reminded me a lot of Scratches, but it wasn't as creepy as Scratches was, maybe it if had a better soundtrack...but then again, it was just the demo.

Condemned 2 and Condemned: Criminal Origins are probably up there with the scariest games I've ever played. Bits and pieces of the flawed F.E.A.R. franchise, too. And maybe BioShock, and I say 'maybe' only because constant, free usage of vita-chambers takes away most of the fear.
