I tried the search bar, and nothing came up for this. Then again, I fail at Google, so be sure to yell at me if this topic has been done before.

Anyway, my scariest movie has been The Shining. Enough said.

Rosemary's Baby. When she got that horrified look on her face at the end, I literally tore out of the room in fear. I guess that's what was ultimately scary about that movie: the scariest thing was seen only by her, and she was all alone in that fear, whilst the audience is left to their imaginations.

I remember watching Mortal Kombat for the first time when I was 6 and I couldn't sleep that night because I was so afraid of the guy with 4 arms.

The fact that people pay money to see and make that drivel makes it the scariest movie of all time.

All these movies have creeped me out on some level. I LOVE japanese horror movies though. I don't know what it is about them, but they just freak me out.

I don't watch scary movies 'cos I get scared way too easy. I'm pretty sure I blocked the scariest from my memories... but I did get super scared of Silent Hill >.> I couldn't use a public bathroom for two weeks. Creepy crucified barbed wire dood would definitely come to get me D:

Not so much because they were scary but the first three alien movies. I love them and have seen them about a dozen times but they still keep me enthralled, and I still squirm a bit when that alien bursts out that dudes chest. They remain awesome to this day.

This movie still gives me the creeps. I love it!

For me though, it would have to be Poltergeist. I was about six when my much older sister and I watched it. She hid behind a cushion. I hid behind the couch.
