Not in English, so beware. Also, this monster, while not as scary as another one from this movie, has haunted my dreams and prevented many nights of sleep.

Movies like TCM and Silent Hill don't really scare me, infact i have a rather worriesome, morbid curiosity for gore.

The one movie that really scared me, and still does, is The Grudge. Not the original, the remake. I don't know why, cuz most of the people i know say it wasn't that scary, but i guess satanic little asian girls with freaky, long black hair are just my horror movie weakness.

Ju-on but I was still laughing considerably throughout the entire movie. My imagination just wanders to the point when the woman in crawling down the stairs you just have this image of her slipping and sliding the rest of the way down *thud thud thud*.

Boo was pretty messed up, but not really scary... I'm sad that there aren't any horror movies anymore... everything seems to be a porno-torture flick...

Hmmm....actually scare me? The ones that come to mind recently are The Ring, The Descent and The Strangers. The original Nightmare on Elm Street freaked me out when I saw it in the theater, but I think that was mostly because I was with a bunch of people -- you know how it is, you all feed off each others' tension.

You know, I haven't seen many scary movies. I guess I mostly watch movies I know will be good that just so happen to be horror movies or have horror elements in them. The horror only ones I've seen have sucked for the most part though.

That video clip, while not that scary, definitely had some cool parts to it, such as the scream the monster made. It was kind of obvious she was going to be dragged a way though... Also, why are they so dumb and not LEAVING. Oh, and then the guy dies or something, and then the girl comes back to get the camera. I guess my favorite scary movie is 1408, as it's actually GOOD. Most horror movies suck majorly. Terrible righting/story or things like in that clip, where the characters are dumb. At least 1408 was well put together... And the ending was GREAT. Amazingly enough, I still liked that clip more than most scary movies, as it doesn't resort to shock scares where it tries to make you jump. This one was just disturbing :p

Also, I didn't find The Decent scary at all. It was just a terrible movie :p... I guess if you find terrible things scary...

Hmm... The Ring and possibly 28 Days Later and/or even the Grudge.

I didn't watch too much scary movies when I was young, but some goosebumps episodes scared me quite a bit.

Showgirls.

You do not know true horror until you have seen a post-Saved by the Bell Elizabeth Berkley try to act.
That movie was awful!!

It was like they just used one take for every shot.

They're remaking this into a full-length feature.

I live my life seriously looking for a movie that genuinely scares me.

Wes Craven's They was pretty creepy.

I stay far away from horror movies, but Signs freaked me out. Yes, it isn't a very good movie, but the home camera scene from the Mexican kids birthday? When the alien walked out everybody in the cinema sort of jumped a bit.

When I was 15 I got seriously into (genuine) horror flicks and not just the snickety mainstream bullshit suspense thrillers that consist of an hour and a half of teen movie romantic comedy followed by a ten minute chase where the 90 lb androgynous misanthropic virgin overpowers the 300 lb mass murderer. No I subsided on pure trepidation and somehow got it into my head to watch The Exorcist at 1am with all the lights out, the air conditioning on overkill, in an empty house, on a low definition projection tv.

I nearly pissed my pants.

Given the correct environment any genuine horror flick can scare your spinal cord into rheumatic shock.

The Ring. I watched it on DVD and on the special features one says "don't watch this". Still haven't.
Yep, ring was the scariest movie ive seen. And the killer clowns from outer space. The movies they make these days mostly rely on gore.

Jesus Camp, look it using google video to see what I mean.

The next scariest movie I saw is an obscure film called Day of the Locust. Most of the movie was drama and critique/satire of Hollywood and false dreams. But there's still one scene in it that scared the hell out of me. Those who saw it know what I'm talking about.
