I went over to my friend's place one day, and he had some traditionally spiced chicken (he's an Indian (India, not Native American) native). By god, never again.

Looking back, I'd be surprised if it passed 500, but still, I can't eat spicy stuff.

Well, my friend made us sushi and, naturally, we had a tube of wasabi paste. So he did a little mixy-wixy, some soy sauce and the paste. When we started eating I accidentally dropped my whole sushi roll into the sauce. I thought I was gonna die when I ate it. x_X It was so spicy that even my friend, who's Thai, couldn't eat it without crying. (I wonder why no one else wanted to eat that stuff afterwards... o_e)

I was in China, and of course the menus were in Chinese. So I saw a dish that looked like it was papricas and chicken or something. I ordered it and it was all green and red peppers.

Of course I had to try one of the red chili peppers...

It burned my throat, tears leaked from my eyes, and I needed to down both my own and my sister's Sprite, as well as eat some cucumber slices and some bread thingies we had ordered, before I started getting better.

My buddy and I did shots of homemade Habenero hot sauce back in high school before injecting it into our burgers. It was delicious. Not sure if that was the hottest thing I've ever had before though. I eat a lot of spicy food but I prefer something to have good flavor rather than simply making my mouth hurt. In this vein, I'm more likely to order medium wings than hot just because they have better flavor.

The Merciless Peppers of Quetzalacatenango ? grown deep in the jungle primeval by the inmates of a Guatemalan insane asylum.

Not really, those things don't exist. However, this thread did remind me of that quote.

I made a chili a few weeks ago that was way too spicy. I know that sounds strange, but I have a huge tolerance for spicy foods and that was too much for me. I still don't know what the hell happened. No one would even try it when I told them it was too much heat for me.

I have had Habenero Peppers before and I could take them just fine. I did make the mistake of going to the bathroom without washing my hands. That is something I will never do again!

I think I ate a little bit of pure Habañero once. The scoville rating of that is at about 350,000 if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: I'd like to get my hands on some Blair's 16 million reserve. I probably wouldn't ever use it for anything. I wuold just like the novelty of having a bottle of 16 million scoville standing around.

There was this little spice that my grandma made. It smelled really delicious so I decided to smother my dish in it.

I took 3 bites and had to stop. I had to eat an ice-cream sandwich to dull the pain.

I asked my mom what was in it, she sighed and said "You know those habaneros your grandmother grows in her back yard?"

How in the hell did my grandma make habaneros smell so good?

The "Braveheart" wings from Wild Wings Cafe.

I haven't had anything spicier than that, but I'm willing. I kill spicy food. >:)

Oh and I mixed Red Savina into my wings. Little honey and BAM! Badass wings.
Red Savina is rated 380,000-500,000 I believe

I tried this stuff my dad bought called Insanity Sauce. It was so hot one drop in a soup for 4-5 people would be too hot to eat for most people. I found my lips stinging and throat was burning like mad.
Our friend was boasting hw awesome he was and ate a tiny blob of it on a crisp as he "was good with spice"...he started to cry and was sick.

The hottest thing I ever ate was a pepper that was buried in a sandwich I bought at an asian supermarket. I have no idea what it was or what the scoville rating was, but it gave me a chemical burn -- I literally had a blister come up in my mouth from it.

The hottest thing I've tried that I know the scoville rating of is <link=http://www.hotsauceworld.com/357maddoghot.html>This stuff. It has 357,000 scoville units, but it actually has a nice sweet taste once you get past the heat. Some of my friends were trying out a bottle one day, and only three of us could take the heat -- one of which was either of indian descent or from some other country in the same general part of Asia, and who claimed that it wasn't that hot to him at all. I was one of the other two :p

Spiciest thing i've ever eaten was a piece of pizza with at least half a bottle of Tabasco sauce on it. My tongue was on fire for 2 and a half hours after that. I was a stupid stupid child.

I work in a kitchen, so we do the "who can eat the hottest crap" contests amongst the kitchen staff a lot.

One of the hottest things I've eaten is a hot sauce called "Pure Cap" It's 3% capsaicin. If you don't know, mace is 5% capsaicin. I didn't even have that much, I just rubbed a little bit on a tooth pick and it had me sweating. Literally 100 times hotter than a jalapeno, and a scoville rating of 500,000
