Some Indian food I was stupid enough to order at 'Medium', as opposed to 'Mild'. At this restaurant, medium was 'Here, let me turn your tongue into a fireworks show of PAIN', because it felt like fireworks had gone off in my mouth.

The worst part was that there were two higher levels: Hot and Indian Hot. I shudder to think what those tasted like.

I suck at scaling it, but I know for sure it was hotter than a Jalapeño!

Also isn't the wasabi paste the spiciest thing in the world you can eat?
Not by a long way. Although it isn't good if you get drunk and try snorting some up your nose for a bet!

Police grade pepper spray rates as 5.3 million on the scoville scale. Blairs 16 million reserve is, well, 16 million!!

Me, I like to taste my food, so for a nice meal, I like to stop somewhere around the 500,000 region. Although I did have a cracker with a blob of 'The Source'. A blob no bigger than a grain of rice, and fuck, it was the most localised pain I've ever felt in my mouth.

The source is rated at 7.1 million......1.8 million higher than pepper spray, the same pepper spray that's used to make full-grown grizzly bears run away crying!!
Well I meant the spiciest legal thing to eat but fair enough I should of probably said that but seems I was wrong anyway.

Went to a Thai restaurant with a friend, and I had an appetizer of Sushi. Saw some Wasabi there, and stupidly made a bet that we could down half each. We did it...

Wasn't too bad, it was pretty mild Wasabi. So my main dish comes out, some spicy chicken dish. This was one of those restaurants that just throws whole peppers into your food and calls it a day. Those red, dry looking ones. So I looked at my friend, and said "The Wasabi was weak, let's try it with two of these."

They accepted, we ate it at the same time. I've seriously never thought I was going to die as much as that day. I couldn't breathe, eat, or even drink anything for some time, and I was instantly in tears. I still have digestion issues from it too, and I now get hiccups if I have anything "hot". It sucks. :(

The Source is legal, it's just bloody expensive, like £75 a bottle expensive!

Wild Onion. Doesn't sound that bad, but it burns.
It was a dare when I was hanging out at a friend's house.

My friend's Death Sauce. I'm not sure what the contents were, but I put a drop the size of half a ladybug on my sandwich and decided I'd had enough. Perhaps I should mention that I regularly eat sandwiches with chili sauce and habanero sauce together. I also ingest balls of wasabi the size of cherries without getting the nose burn effect. I've gotten to the point where I no longer feel the sting from standard hot sauce. This was no pushover hot sauce my friend had. To humble me even further, he applied it to his chili con carne soup.
I was told that a friend of his once took the sauce and poured it on a slice of pizza and took a big bite. He then spent the next three hours in the bathroom.

I work in a kitchen, so we do the "who can eat the hottest crap" contests amongst the kitchen staff a lot.

One of the hottest things I've eaten is a hot sauce called "Pure Cap" It's 3% capsaicin. If you don't know, mace is 5% capsaicin. I didn't even have that much, I just rubbed a little bit on a tooth pick and it had me sweating. Literally 100 times hotter than a jalapeno, and a scoville rating of 500,000
You know a guy died of that... right?
I did not, but it doesn't surprise me. My boss ate roughly a thimble full, then snorted 2 lines of it for $200. He lived, but he couldn't breath for a couple of minutes

A "Dorset Naga"

I started vomiting, and my vomit had blood in it...

Never ever again...
Wait, did you eat the whole thing straight?
I'm not sure, a acquaintance of mine mixed it (a lot of it) into a bean dip as a joke. Needless to say I ended up in the emergency room where I was apparently the most interesting case in the hospital with doctors putting me on display to the interns (didn't have a problem with being used as a teaching aid though). I remember the doctors mentioning that my throat could have swollen shut if I was any later...
O_O Good thing you came out fine. Come to think of it. I had a friend of a friend snort chilli powder once and was too admitted to a hospital.

Really? I guess people have different tolerances. I've had more spice than the average Dorset Naga with a much less severe reaction, that is it hurt but I could take it.
