This anime has set the weirdness standards by which me and my friend now compare anything else weird.

YES! Wow, I'm suprised nobody mentioned this earlier. I was going to. I first watched this when I was like 12 and it was on VHS. I ACTUALLY GOT IT... the second time around.

I'm going to have to agree with Bobobo though, I still can't even stand to sit through the whole thing. Followed by Puni Puni Poemi.

And I don't see what's hard to understand about FLCL.

Those, though I honestly haven't seen Poni Poni Dash, or much of FLCL. I watched 2 episodes of FLCL back in the day when it was on Adult Swim (this was around when Adult Swim first came out) and I was so lost.

Also: Puni Puni Poemy (Same people that brought us Excel Saga,) Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi and Gantz are pretty strange too. Gantz is the only one that isn't a comedy with random stuff happening though. It's pretty violent and such it's just strange.
