Sonic Unleashed- as with most Sonic games, way too buggy, bad platforming controls (especially the werehog stages), and slippery controls on the daytime stages.

Earthbound- The exploding trees. Why?

Just Cause 2- Not enough variety in the settlements to merit a 100% completion for me.

SSX 3- sometimes difficult to tell what part of the mountain is out of bounds.

Portal:Damn it for being so good.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World: the Game:They could have fit in the Scott Pilgrim story. The physics engine could have been better.

in legend of zelda wind waker you have to find 8 maps then get each translated by tingle for a price so yo can then tediosly search for 8 triforce shards. The conga line of objectives kinda ticks me off
Worse when you can clearly tell they cut some dungeons that were going to be there, and their absence is very noticeable.

Speaking of nitpicking in Zelda, twilight princess had plenty o' dungeons, but not enough side quests. Not enough towns to interact with, the castle town felt very soulless in particular.

Majora's mask had to end. :(

The prison level in Fable. Although that's not much of a core part. I'll go with the combat multiplier/guildmaster harassing you so often.

Red Dead Redemption had some bugs. I didn;t mid the funny ones (bird people, hydraulic carraige, etc) but occasionally ou get the annoying freeze-ups... I had to do the Javier Escuela and Undead Nightmare Army Train missions like 3 times each before I got it to work properly

Pokemon: the enemy AI is kinda dumb at times. you can breeze through the campaign, thinking you're tough shit, then you battle a friend and get your ass handed to you

TF2: little nitpicky things. not even real problems, just annoyances. a good example is when you play as a heavy and you die in 3 seconds byway of circle-strafing scout, or when you're a spy, the enemy just shoots randomly and 1-hits you

Left 4 Dead 2: my framerate sucks occasionally and sometimes the amount of fun ou have is tied to who you're playing with. cooperative, helpful team=fun, speedrunning douchebags who kick you if you get incapped 2 or more times=no fun

Persona 4 - Rise! Oh dear god Rise. Teddie has nothing on the way Rise squeals in every battle, sending a terrible ringing into your ears. I would groan when I would see a whole group five enemies that I knew I had the spells to knock down, knowing every single one would prompt her to open her god awful gob.
I wish she had stayed tired and depressed like before she unlocked her Persona. At least she was tolerable then.

The Legend of Dragoon was the JRPG that made me into a gamer. Fantastic visuals, interesting story, sympathetic characters, amazing music - and the worst translation known to mankind. It's a credit to the game that the story managed to emerge through the mangled English; on the last disc it got so bad as to be nearly incomprehensible. It stands aside classic PS1 RPGs like FFVII and not only holds its own but is distinct and different enough to be intriguing, but I still quote some of the more egregious examples of mistranslation due to their sheer hilarity. You are the one to die!

Planescape: Torment is my prime example of how games transcend to art, but I hate grinding up against the clearly unfinished bits. Like Vhailor in his entirety, or Undersigil, or the bit in the Brothel with the girls' sensory stones, or Grace's diary, or other things I'm not going to spoil. The writing is so gobsmackingly gorgeous; I vibrate with frustration whenever I'm faced with things I was intended to be able to explore but, alas, cannot. This effect is also visible in KOTOR2.

I love Persona 4, but it's bipolar with its music. Sometimes you get brilliant, catchy themes that perfectly suit their areas and moods; other times, you get uninspiring and repetitive j-pop. I will spend time in certain dungeons just to absorb the sound, and mute the TV in certain town segments because my ears have gone beyond polite requests and have instead opted for jihad.

My Favorite game is still FF8.

While I loved most parts of the game, including the story, the world and the customization possibilities, the magic system is just horrible.

You have to stock up spells like items, which often turns horribly grindy if you want to mix-max. You also rarely get to use your most powerful spells, since this are directly linked to your stats in most cases, meaning that using let's say Ultima will lower whatever stat it's junctioned to.

Hmm, a flaw in Painkiller... the story is absolute shit, and even though it doesn't matter much... well, Painkiller with a good or even decent story would've been fantastic.

Oh come on, the poetry was lovely :3

OT: BioShock, and I disliked the difficulty curve. If you knew where to find the tonics and collected all the ADAM, you weren't beatable at the end of the game on any difficulty.

-This problem was rectified by having a pretty heavy difficulty in BioShock 2; but that wasn't even a necessary sequel so that doesn't count >.<

I personally enjoy the cut-scenes in Metal Gear Solid 3 but there were so many! And the codex calls? Really? Other than that, I loved the entire game.

My fave is halo 3 multiplayer. (didn't play 1 or 2 multi) What I hate is a. you have to organize a full team if you want to level up in a team playlist (possible fix is mercenery v. team playlists perhaps, with mercenery being more lenient for losses) and b. once you get to around 40 in lone wolf it's no longer about how good you are but about how often you can avoid getting oddball or king of the hill (which are based around getting a good sequence of spawns i.e. luck not skill)

Shadow of the colossus: the crappy graphics. Thankfully, when I played it, I didn't yet have my glasses, so that wasn't really an issue then, and now they are improving the graphics for the PS3 release.
THERE'S GONNA BE A PS3 RELEASE? HOLY SHIIII-

On topic, Korsakovia. The level design is utter shit. It's confusing and sends you into the wrong directions. This is done on purpose and part of what makes Korsakovia grrrrrreat and different from any other game, but can nonetheless still be frustrating as heck.
