This is for movies, not television shows.
Both 3D and 2D animation are applicable for this thread.
Further guidelines will be added as necessary.

Personally, I rather enjoyed Titan AE. Yes, this was during the 'fall' of Don [thanks for the correction] Bluth, but I thought the story was pretty cool, and the animation was as stellar as was expected from him.

I also enjoyed Spirited Away, Akira, Up, Toy Story, The Incredibles, and The Lion King.

Titan was pretty decent too. Plus "Planet Bob" is awesome.

Does this cover Animé movies? Personally I think there are enough threads on those already so the topic should stick to more western films.

My favourites are probably Wall-E, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle and Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

The animation in all three is top notch, while the stories are all also impressive, amongst other things.

That's affirmative. It qualifies as 2D animation.

Does rotoscoping count? If it does: Waking Life.
If it doesn't: Hulk vs Wolverine (just for the Deadpool parts)

Wall-E.
I don't care that it was a kid's movie, or that it could be seen as preachy. By damn, it was good.
And seeing the fat whale-people flop around made me laugh. Hard.

Wall-e for sure, it is beyond a doubt one of the greatest films of all time (sorry if this sounds a little overstated)

Do the old Disney films count? If so any number of them... (Lion King, Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast etc.. all great films)

I would also claim The Iron Giant and the secret of Nimh were quality films. On the computer animation side Wall-E and Shrek were impressive.

Wall-E. Just a terrific film.
Ack. I've still to see that, and I'm dying to after all the positive stuff I've been hearing.

I'm in love with Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story and Mulan. I couldn't honestly choose between the three.
