When people make negative criticism that doesn't make any sense.
Zombies. ANYTHING with zombies.
Grad students in physics who don't know about things you're supposed to know in Chemistry 1.

I could think of more, but I'm tired right now.

I would say that I get really annoyed at people who mistreat their games. I mean, all my friends always have game discs on the floor, cracked controllers with the analog stick skin peeled off, and sticky shit under the buttons. "Really? Wtf man, I can't play with this!"
Oh, and too many people at my school say, "Why do I need these classes? I'm gonna be a model/pimp/porn star! Who needs to learn THIS!" Thank GOD I had that humanity faith boost from EC.

Hmmmm, I got tonnes now that I've become an extremely irritable individual, but if I had to narrow it down to the biggest one it would have to when people don't/won't listen.

I hate when people look over my shoulder when I'm working it distracts me. Another thing that grinds my gears is repeating my self, sure if person 1 walks in and asks what I'm doing I'll tell him and then good ol' person 2 waltz's in and asks whats up I'm fine with repeating my self but I get annoyed when I have to say something more then once, usually after saying something twice I just say forget it unless its a situation where I can't.

Oh god just the other day a friend of mine mocked everyone who did that. We were in math class learning about finances and usually everyday in that class people say "Why do I need to know this?" or "When will we use this in real life?" so when it got real quiet, I yelled "WHEN WILL I EVER USE THIS IN REAL LIFE? I MEAN WHO NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT MONEY? JUST STICK IT IN A JAR AND HIDE IT!" my friend then agreed and then added some more very loudly, the whole time we were both making eye contact with the usual perpetrator and making our point very. very. clear. unfortunately the teacher didn't catch the jab and so came over to have a talk with us about how important it is to know how to manage money, we explained the situation and she walked away laughing. That was a glorious day haha

When people say or type "I could care less". That is grammatically incorrect, and normally I wouldn't care except that it's a HUGE mistake in what you're trying to say, and that just makes it all the more annoying when people say it without knowing it's wrong. I think what also makes it so annoying is that it doesn't take much thought to realize it makes no goddamn sense. There are people who try to bullcrap their way out of it and say that it can be grammatically correct in certain situations, but that's a load of crap since most people use that specific phrase to mean "I could not care any less about *insert word here*". There is no realistic situation in which one would say "I could care less".

Though I think it bugs me even more when game developers make that mistake. THAT'S RIGHT, I'M CALLING YOU OUT ACE ATTORNEY AND TRAILS IN THE SKY! I mean come on, I could maybe see why Klavier Gavin in Apollo Justice got it wrong, what with him being German and all, but when Miles Edgeworth makes that mistake, that just breaks character so much that it hurls me out of the experience and takes five or ten minutes for me to stop fuming about it.

Of the so very many I have, casual terms of endearment is a big one. In short, people who call me 'honey', 'sweetie', 'sugar' or shit like that just to improve my opinion of them for a favor or a tip later is like nails on a chalkboard, and is treated accordingly.
Agreed.

Only my closest friends may call me "Dear".

People watching me as I work.
I honestly can't fucking stand it when that happens, I get so nervous/annoyed/angry that I have to slow waaaaay down before I make a big mistake. And this happens all the fucking time.

I'm a cynical (partly British) bastard so there's many that annoy me a lot (<- thats one of them)

-People that confuse your/you're
-People that confuse there/their/they're
-It's "a lot" NOT "alot"
-People that order an ice cream where I work and then go away while I'm doing their orders
-People that think I'm a psychic and don't tell me what flavor ice cream they want and then act surprised that they have to go look
-Impatient people
-Loud people
-Quiet people
-Coworkers that do something during their shift then don't bother to inform the next shift's supervisor which then causes something bad to happen and the one who was never told gets in trouble

Sorry, those last 6 were things I had to put up with today. Rant over.

EDIT:

This too.

EDIT2: How did I forget about this one??!?!! The phrase "I could care less". So you're saying that you CAN care less than you do... MAKES NO SENSE!!!! The phrase is "I COULDN'T care less" meaning that it is impossible for you to care at all for whatever.

EDIT3: The excuse "because I said so". Saying that just proves that you don't have a good reason for whatever it is being talked about and make you look like an idiot.

People who do not understand the "burden of proof" in debate (IE, if I say that the earth is made of chocolate, I have to prove it, not just say "PROVE IT ISN'T!") or the difference between Civil and Criminal law.

Also, people who want me to feel sympathy for criminals.

The pluralisation of the word 'you'. As far as I know only Aussie okas (rednecks) use this. It's pronounced "yooz", as in "What are yooz blokes doin'?". Fuck that shits me.

Saying "woah" instead of "whoa" for sentences like "Whoa, that's a lot of cats".

I actually used to do it too until someone I think on these very forums made a post about it. Now I think about it every time I see someone do that.

Ridiculous New Jersey caricatures use it. Usually in the form of "youse guys". It's on Urban Dictionary, that makes it legit.[footnote]http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=youse%20guys[/footnote]

My biggest pet peeve is people who constantly rush around everywhere and they never take the time to stop and look around. Thats a big part I think about enjoying your life is just taking things slow because if you rush you'll just miss out on things. Of course no one likes to be late for anything like a meeting or a class, but endlessly running around from place to place leaves you no time for yourself. And taking a nice slow walk to class with my headphones on leaves me time to myself with my own thoughts and I enjoy that. I think people would be happier if they indulged that side of themselves more often.

I don't deal well with stupid people. I don't mean people who are uneducated, I mean people who act as if they don't have a brain in their heads and are unwilling to do anything about it.

Take a coworker of mine for example. I refer to his as Slinky, because like the toy with the same name, he's useless, but fun to push down the stairs. He's supposed to be the service manager at the auto repair shop where I work. He doesn't know how to price up the estimates that I hand him, and on the ones that I price out for him, he can't sell the job to the customer. He once handed me a work order for a brake inspection because the customer was complaining about a grinding sound. The brakes on the car were worn to nothing, and all of it needed to be replaced. He managed to talk the customer out of getting their brakes fixed.
Wow, that's failing to a new level right there, and yeah, those people suck.

when i say something thats funny but either no one hears it or they didnt laugh then literally two seconds later some one says word for word what i said and people laugh when they say it.

also black people who deliberately fuck up their sentences and try to type in slang, i mean thats basically going out of your way to make up words to speak incorrectly on purpose.

also when i try talking to a girl and they just ignore me, thats a big one.

also, and this is a big one, the sound of any alarm clock. i have no conceivable reason, i just hate it.

also, the word also.

also, long lists.

Grammar nazi people piss me off, it's a boring waste of a post on any forum anywhere.

If a post is legible don't make a snarky remark and if it's illegible don't bother replying. Simplicity FTW!
