It's not only you guys that can't get any money.
Apparently, I can't get a decent scholarship because I'm not dirt poor or smarter than Bill Gates. Being black isn't enough and I didn't want to fake my FAFSA like people told me to. 'sigh'

Although, everyone and their mother will swear up and down I'm in a certain school because I'm in some program.

A week ago I would've said: Caucasian blue eyed blonde haired protestant christian middle class straight male. That's pretty much as plain as you can get. Ancestors from all over Europe, although there was some controversy in my family and it's possible that I am 1/128th Native American. I don't like not being 100% sure of where I come from, but really no one is considering they had no way of knowing who anyone's father is up until modern times.

I choose to embrace the little bit of British I have while condemning my Irish geneology.

It's complicated, my Dad's side of the family goes from Germany, to Russia then Scotland where they settled. So to simplify, Half Irish, quarter Scottish and quarter Australian. All essentially Caucasion countries...yeah.
