The system in the matrix trilogy that allows you to upload knowledge straight into your brain.

Hyper space drives or warp drives or gravity drives anyone? Interstellar travel would be cool!

Any ballistic weapon in Firefly - I just want to know what it is in a sawn-off shotgun from that universe that goes 'bwwwwwup' every time the damn thing's cocked (and of course every other gun, heh).

It could all just be a trick to make you think that it's actually a sci-fi gun when in fact they got the prop from the Western store...
really? you'd take weaponry rather than INTERSTELLAR FLIGHT!?

Tardis
Star Destroyer (complete with slave drive)
Lightsaber
Portal Gun
Sonic Screwdriver

Um, yeah. One of those.

If i had to choose though....I'd take the ship Serenity from Firefly. Fast, reliable, cheap and a great source of income if available

The Heart Of Gold. Think about it. You could do anything as long as you know the direct probability factor of it happening. Even go back in time and punch Douglas Adams for screwing up the ending of Mostly Harmless. That seems like a fair trade if all I need to do live with a gay computer.

In no particular order

babble-fish (HHG2G)

portal gun (portal)

The BFG9000 (DOOM)

A Working model of the Skasis Paradigm (5 shiny points to whoever knows where this is from)

The Homosapien propulsifier (capable of firing men, and Grifs!)

Chopper (It has Cannons and can smash anything, plus it looks freaking sweet in screenshots as it dives off a jump)

---Fallout 3---

T51B power armour (Because the smart wastlander knows how to dress for deathclaw encounters)
railway rifle (It's a gun that pins body parts to walls, need I say anymore)
MIRV (No job too big or too small that this bad boy can't vapourise)
Tesla cannon (Serious win at the cost of 1 ammo per shot)
Chinese stealth armour
Gauss rifle (mainly the sound as it splits a muties head in 3)
Auto-Axe (Goes from 0 to gibbage in 2.6 seconds)
Deathclaw control scrambler (Because setting pets on their owners is always hilarious)
PIP-BOY 3000

I'd take the put-really-huge-things-into-really-small-things technology from the pokemon universe, then use it for stuff OTHER THAN POKEMON!

Seriously.
Those guys have access to some pretty damn advanced technology, yet live in such a comparably low-tech world as they do.

I would have picked the TARDIS or Sonic Screwdriver as those are both really cool.

To add a new one, at least I think it's new to the thread, how about the hyposprays from Star Trek? Those things can cure just about anything.
